So I guess right now we're doing introductions and getting heavy shit out of the way, huh? I'm Toshizou Hijikata - the taller one, with the cyberarm. There's two of us with the same name here.
I've talked to a few people about this already, but I realized a while ago that we should probably stockpile supplies when we can - there's been a few times we've been stuck here in liminal space for extended periods of time, and some of the Jaunts aren't to the most habitable places. And there's a limit to what I can store in liminal space, not to mention that if I'm out of the picture, nobody can get to it - it benefits us all for anyone who can store stuff to do so. Water or water purification supplies, food that won't spoil, medical supplies, shit like that. Don't steal if if you can help it - trade work or supplies with the locals, or find someone with currency left over from something else.
I also have some tazers for anyone who doesn't have a weapon or other means of self-defense and wants one. They're pretty easy to use, but the charge is limited and I'm not swimming in power supplies.
And I know this is a long shot but - anyone here with any skill at cybernetics maintenance?

... sadly, I do not know much about cybernetics, so I cannot help you there, unless I were to have the original plans.

Stuff that'll last? [he mostly sounds surprised, because nobody's been able to do that so far]
Right now I just need some metal work, but eventually I need someone who can do the fine tuning.
no subject
If you could teach me the basics, I would be happy to assist you in any capacity I can.
no subject
Huh. That's handy - good to know that. Any limits on what you can make?
Unfortunately, if I could teach someone I wouldn't have to be asking around in the first place.
no subject
Ah, I see. My apologies, then. I wish I could help you.
no subject
Hm. I'll have to grab schematics for some more complicated stuff the next time we're on a Jaunt that has them.
And it's fine - I think I can work something out with someone else.
no subject
Also, I would be interested in a tazer.
no subject
That, and the people there might need those supplies too. There's a reason theft is generally considered a crime. If you want to do the book-keeping, though, go for it.
And come find me in liminal space, I'll give you one and show you how to use it.
no subject
Where are you? I'm currently in Leo's workshop.
no subject
I've been down near the cells, the alarm isn't quite as bad there. I'll come by the workshop, though.
[ooc: action y/n?]

Very well. It is quiet in here as well, if you're after that. Look for the bird in the corner.

Yeah, this last one... I don't even know if trying to take stuff back would have worked, much less what it would turn into. Hopefully the next place is a little less weird.

I hope that a lot, and some times we get lucky. It's kind of a grab-bag, really - never know what's coming next.

[ It's a child's voice piping up in response, confident and dismissive. ]
My specialty's with mechanics, but most of the gear I use has some level of cybernetic integration.
[ WayneTech. Cutting edge. Whatever press they release to the public, Batman, Incorporated has had it for months before that. Internet 3.0, digital analysis and imaging radar systems -- their field kits are well-equipped for everything a team of modern day vigilantes would need. All his armor's got some level of sophistication to it, but his gloves and mask are packed with circuitry. ]

Hn. [He is not naturally inclined to trust a kid with what is basically a part of his body, but - he's been here long enough to grudgingly open his mind a little]
I can do the basic maintenance - cleaning, lubrication - myself, but eventually some of the sensor and nerve contacts are going to need to be cleaned and reseated.

Simple enough. If the synaptic response times have been slow, I could probably even increase the efficiency of those at the same time, depending on the set-up you've got.
[ He's a perfectionist; always looking to make something better. Batmobile? Make it fly. Bulletproof cape? Turn it into a parachute on demand. Tinkering's just what he does in his free time. ]
no subject
[well, he's not totally bullshitting Toshi so that's a good start]
Synaptics are okay right now - they can be set higher than normal human response time but I don't feel like dealing with getting used to that.
Right now I actually need a plate section either repaired or replaced, which I realize we're kind of lacking in facilities to do.
no subject
[ Given the references, and if Damian laid out the designs -- maybe. He's not sure what the limits to it are, just yet. ]
no subject
Right now the structural integrity's okay - someone took a slice at me with one of those disc things, and it cut through the plate, but not all the way across. Mostly I just want it sealed so shit doesn't get inside.
no subject
[ Not in the least. He repairs damage to his gauntlets in much the same way. ]
I can meet you in the courtroom, shouldn't take long at all to do the work.
no subject
Alright, I'll be there in five.
[OOC: action, or just handwave at this point?]
no subject
[A pause.]
Are you all right?
no subject
Anything in a can or jar that's still sealed probably has a pretty long shelf life. I don't suppose healing spells work on inorganic things?
And I'm doing fine - you?
