Final Fantasy XV Spoilers; Shortly after Return Liminal (Because Ignis is Sneaky)

For those of you whom I have met, I was wondering if I could ask for a favor--if you feel comfortable doing so, could you Livestream a picture of your face? It would be nice to know what you look like. It'll make things easier on me if I have faces to remember.

[It's Koromaru who answers, with a few cheerful barks that somehow convey that Shinji won't see the point in answering the question. But he'll probably know whatever Ignis is trying to hide just from the question, if he's paying any attention to it. Shinji's pretty smart, and also there was all that kitchen stuff.

Anyway! The angle's weird and the colors are even weirder; in Koro-vision, Shinji's coat is closer to the purple he started out the walkabout complaining about being than the dark red it actually is. The coat in question is draped across an armchair, and Shinji himself is setting out a plate of pasta with meatballs on the dining room table. The long-sleeved shirt he's wearing is about the same color as his coat, probably.

At least the greenish carpet in the lounge translates pretty well in Dog Color.

How to show himself is trickier, but eventually Koromaru jumps up to look into a glass-fronted cabinet and network-barks again. It's not as good as a mirror, but it does still show enough that Ignis will probably know Koromaru on sight. There aren't that many dogs around Liminal Space, never mind albino dogs, and his thick collar and winged doggy shirt are pretty distinctive too.]

[Ignis has found a chair to sit down in and is enjoying a book. Although he's having a hard time reading it. This is kind of fun, surprising people like this.]

[Mamoru arrives in his normal suited appearance from inside the Workshop, as he happens to live somewhere there like many others. He spots Ignis and sees him reading. Which strikes as odd.]

Ignis?

[Ignis looks up from his book and smiles at Mamoru. There's an air of 'yes, I know exactly what you're thinking' to that particular smug expression.]

It's good to see you, Mamoru.

[... completely intentional pun.]

[Mamoru looks confused for a moment before he smiles in a rather excited kind of a smile.]

You can see. Did this happen during the Walkabout?

[Yeah, he's unable to keep his smile from being excited, too.]

Prompto apprenticed himself to a doctor who knew cybernetics. He worked hard to make sure I wouldn't miss out on an opportunity to see again. And here I am.

That's wonderful. I'm really glad for you. I take it he will know how to take care of you if something happened?

He made sure he knew how to take care of the implant without any assistance. It's remarkable how quickly he was able to learn it.

Partially that--and he had skills gained from an overlay that has sped up his retention dramatically.

[He's back to looking mostly human for a moment before he's popping in to his morray eel mermaid totem, complete with secondary jaw set that's just visible when he opens his mouth.]

I think this one might be able to be combined with the others, though I have not tried.

turns in to his Atma Demon form, a skeletal bird-headed quasi-angel that cleary has to crouch to fit in the room.]

I can do others too, I think. There is a trick to changing your form in appearance without gaining the rest of a form's abilities.

.... Goodness. I'm... not exactly sure what form I met you in. Perhaps when you were a woman...?

[It's very obvious that Ignis isn't really prepared to have had to think about people simply being able to change gender like that.]
