Also, they make good stocking stuffers
Okay, I know there's a lot going on at the moment...
[what with dungeons, walkabout fallout, whatever the hell's going on with that penalty box...]
...but I just wanted to give anyone who might be interested a heads-up that Infoglasses are now available on a first come, first serve basis. I figure I can make maybe three a month to start with, so if anyone wants a pair, let me know.
For anyone who doesn't know what Infoglasses are, they're basically glasses that double as a portable display for computers, TVs, and other devices. They've got wi-fi access, provide their own hotspot, and have a massive photographic database onboard, so you can use them to look at a given object, compare it to similar objects on file, and pull information about them from the database. They're Spark-era tech, so... pretty advanced.
Anyway, I'm around if anyone wants a pair.

But I don't recall anyone getting stabbed on that Jaunt.

[She honestly doesn't know much about that Jaunt, aside from there apparently not being that much to do and something about being slightly too early for Pompeii.]

It's ludicrous that this is our standard now, but it is something.

[To both of those.]

[She is not so sure that's a safe assumption.]

[Another weak point, unfortunately]

[There's a short pause.]
Not that I'm absolving myself of this either, but...
[She tries, but she's not without her own impulsive tendencies.]

I'm allowed to admit here that I remember what it feels like.

[And yet despite this, she'd apparently been the voice of experience and/or reason and/or only sane teammate to a group of high schoolers and her occasionally alarmingly ditzy coworker-slash-friend, before their timeline had been rewound. How.]

[Sometimes she still wishes for an adultier adult]
And adulthood here is so different than anywhere else.

[She believes it, but she has to admit it's a bit depressing.]
Yeah, there's that too.

But humanity manages to survive all the same.

[No thanks to certain eldritch gods she can think of, but...]
