One of them said that the repercussions of this went out to different universes, up to and including, changing stellar gravity. This is so much more than 'you kidnapped me, I hate you'. This is destabilizing entire universes. Frankly, I've always been more afraid of other Travelers than the Arcana themselves.

...no. I can totally understand them seeing this as slavery. It’s not whips and chains by any stretch, but the Arcana’s polite suggestions sound like direct orders for a reason.

Not that it makes this right. Or that it makes them right.

Sorry. That kind of thing just hits me hard. Most of the time when someone says 'this is slavery!' it's just... a hindrance of freedom. Which sucks, but it's not the worst that can happen.
