[Somehow, Kinji is looking over an empty, white scene that seems to stretch off indefinitely. The only other person here is naturally Yakumo; though he's armoured up in his blue Aoninger armour, and it's easy to tell that Kinji is as well.

And about half a beat after the stream starts, Yakumo turns sharply towards Kinji, bristling.]

So fer those who might a' been wonderin'-- [Yakumo is rushing towards Kinji now, but the cowboy seems undeterred, dancing back from his partner with practiced ease.] --that if folks wanted t'go an' try straight-up possessin' this here truck we're ridin' on, this is where y'all might end up.

[Yakumo's still chasing after him, but it's not aggressive as much as very clearly trying to block Kinji's line of sight, trying to throw up his hands and block the stupid situation they've landed themselves in.]

I'd also like t'note how we're a mite bit stuck in here. Can't quite seem t'find an exit just yet.

I'm going to guess Bridging didn't work? Or is that something you haven't picked up yet?

[She won't judge them for the latter - given how few psychic skills she has even now, she can't exactly throw stones there - but trying to possess the truck is another story.]

Bridging isn't a skill that either of us have learned. [That Yakumo knows about. He sounds incredibly flustered.] This has never happened before -- getting out is usually easy.

If it weren't for the fact that you're still on the network, I'd almost think you ended up in a separate Liminal rather than a new pocket of this one. On the other hand, if you were trying to possess the truck, that implies a psychic skill, or maybe a hybrid of the two.

It isn't either of those. It's an advanced hybrid ninpou. [He does, at least, have the good graces to sound a little contrite about it.] The same technique we use to control some of our equipment at home.

The truck reminded us a' one 'f our team-mates back home, his OtomoNin's a giant yellow dump-truck. We wanted t'see if it had somethin' t'do with him, so Yakki went an' hijacked it t'check.

Just that, t'be honest. But Nagi-bocchan always was the trickiest 'f us when it comes t'pranks an' the like. It'd be entirely like him t'go hidin' from us an' set somethin' up t'catch us off-guard.

There's usually some indication whenever somebody new shows up, though - sounds or lights or other things that mark them as new regardless of how they appear.

Kinji--! [The warning is snapped out as Aoninger's gloved hands smack down on Starninger's visor, trying to block the image that's filtering into Yakumo's own mind.] --What are you doing?!

[The video, obviously, is covered and jerks sharply at the sudden slapping, but Kinji's own hands come into view to grab Yakumo's wrists and shove them away so he can spin with dizzying speed out of reach.]

We might as well go lettin' people know we're stuck here! [He's talking out loud too, it's just easier.]

That's not--! [This is worse than linked senses, Kinji; Yakumo's viewing both you and your perception of him without all of the other sensory input, and it's entirely distracting. But doesn't stop him from snapping a hand out to grab Kinji's arm, or stomping a foot into the back of his armored knee to down him. Even though they're not really in physical bodies, Yakumo still does not fight clean. Also, he is absolutely fucking mortified that you are broadcasting this mistake.] This way is unnecessary!

[The video judders with a sudden spark of pain as Kinji drops onto one knee from that kick, and he cuts the video there so people don't have to deal with the pain on top of the idiocy]

[He stumbles to his feet, rubbing his elbow. It's entirely for show; his knee hurts more anyway, and that's fading quickly.] Cos 'we ain't nowhere' ain't gonna make people even more confused.
