This is Hajime, we, ah, did that thing where we're both infiltrating and not infiltrating, and there's some kind of space base out here with a lot of aliens bent on conquering Earth to take care of some bioweapon? I just...don't really know what's going on beyond that.

Looks like I'm comms and cryptographic officer on the Valiant task force, so I can see what I can do from the information side of things.

This is somewhat like my homeworld, so if anyone needs tech help or just general 'what the shit is going on' help, let me know. I can at least try to help.

Yeah, we just got engaged, so it's really kinda cool to see it there.

Well allow me to add a more official congratulations on that as well.

I've got a suspicion that one of the Arcana here might be Emperor. Not just for the marital acknowledgements, of course, but between the conflict of authority here and the fact that Liminal has actual food...

Hm. That is an interesting thought. I wonder if Shiro has any clue.

I think I heard somewhere once that whenever there's Actual Food it's either Emperor or Empress.

I haven't been paying an awful lot of attention to who's been doing what lately, though. Probably a huge problem on my part.

I think that perhaps we've put too much weight onto trying to maneuver the Arcana we "like" into winning positions in the past anyway. Emperor is certainly not someone I'm a fan of no matter how sweetly his wife behaves, but if he's the one who wants this war defused, I think I'd rather do that than watch two species fight to the death. For example.
