Leaking some of the more damning stuff in here to the authorities, for one.

To what end? A large portion of Chikyuumaru's protection relies on the secrets behind AEGISCorp's developments remaining secret. Assuming that the authorities even care about the means through which AEGISCorp's recent results were produced, exposing the methods would open up holes in our defenses and open up other researcher's eyes to the possibility of exploiting those same systems.

If there's a specific goal you have in mind, we can find a better way of reaching it.

You won't find any better in any of the organizations involved. This is a war, Casper: there isn't anyone whose hands are clean. Even if we were to release AEGISCorp's secrets, it wouldn't result in any net benefit or gain. Any ground AEGISCorp loses will be taken up by a competitor, and their methods won't be any more palatable.
