Bismuth here! First time in this place, hah, looks like I might've changed species too. Still a big rock, funnily enough, but I've got some real glossy armour. Can't really say much more than that!

It sounds like you're a Hecatite. Which may be a problem if you try to take a hit like you normally would - they're surprisingly fragile.

Huh. I was wondering what that was called. I saw Shiro as one punching one of those big glass tubes in the Liminal Space right before all that Beastfolk crap, he cracked the hell out of his arm.

Luckily I think I'm still made of bismuth, by the looks of things, so I should still be pretty sturdy.

Has your spirit companion found you yet? They should be able to fill you in on the powers that come with your armour.

They're hard to miss - and it will definitely know you when it sees you, and won't be shy about claiming you as its partner.

You probably know more about minerals than I do, but for what it's worth, the bismuth exoskeleton is probably on a substrate of opal silica around chains of silicones - silicon oxide or polysiloxane.

At least, when I was a Gorgon cyborg, that's what I thought Hecatites were made out of. They can grow crystals out of any mineral they can bond with, but their underlying body is silica and silicone.
