Forgive me, but I am unfamiliar with what liminal space has become this time. Can anyone tell me what it is? What the cultural significance of it is? Are there usually balls of mice which try to run you down? There must be some reason it is what it is this time.

I don't want to overanalyze things, but it could be a little worrying.

I mean, 'the world is a vampire, sent to drain' doesn't make me look forward to next Jaunt.

Wait, do we have a standardized calendar for this place?

... I guess it would make sense to have one.

We don't, exactly. I just noticed in my first couple Jaunts that the calendars almost always matched up, and started doing my best to count sleep cycles in Jaunts. I've got a very regular 28-hour Circadian rhythms, so I'm usually within a few hours of GMT when we start a new Jaunt.

Right now, it's early morning September 10th, GMT. 3 AM, give or take an hour.

Yeah, I guess. These days I'm, like, constitutionally incapable of sleeping less than eight hours.
