Forgive me, but I am unfamiliar with what liminal space has become this time. Can anyone tell me what it is? What the cultural significance of it is? Are there usually balls of mice which try to run you down? There must be some reason it is what it is this time.

It seems odd that they would name themselves after something with no relation to what they do. But yes, we do have groups of players. Not usually the most talented among us, but a fair number. Sometimes they use names as well, but usually they don't need one, as they will be commissioned, or simply set up performances and allow passersby to provide compensation for their efforts.

Haha, yeah, I guess it would, but that's what musical groups do these days. They aren't even the weirdest. I should compile a list of the real weird ones for you someday.

People who, like, busk in the streets don't usually need names but if you want people to buy recordings of your stuff, you usually want to call yourself something. And it probably should be something that someone else hasn't used yet, which is why band names are getting weirder.
