Attention: Werewolves [A few days into liminal space, after Helena's suggestion]
This is Randolph Lyall... I'm sorry I didn't get this out to everyone sooner, but I know there are a number of us who have kept traits of the werewolves from the previous Jaunt. I've been one for several years now, and particularly in the light of there being a party coming up shortly, here, I wanted to make myself available in case anyone needs help adjusting to their new senses or instincts, or pointers in regards to shapeshifting or hunting. Getting used to this takes time, but I've gone through it, and I'll offer what help and advice I can-- or spare clothing if you need it. These shapeshifts rarely are kind to clothes, and I have the ability to create clothing from nothing, in here.
I also wanted to assure everyone that whether or not these forms come with whatever the full moon drawbacks of their associated bloodline, liminal space is a moon-free zone. Any "moon" in here that shows up isn't real, and hasn't ever affected me, so it oughtn't affect you. Whether you wish to experiment with full moon drawbacks in any of the Jaunt worlds we visit, if anything gets out of hand, all you need is someone to portal you back in here.
And finally, er.
[Here he hesitates, and there may be a slight sense of embarrassment when he continues. Only slight, though. This is, after all, a largely tone-free network.]
Regarding that party... seeing as I do seem to have expanded my clothing-adjustment skills to other people, these days, if anyone needs help creating a costume, I'm happy to oblige, if I can. Just come to me with an idea, and I'll see what I can do.

[And Worick will arrive at the designated area- gross bloody shirt and all- at the specified time.]
Yo-- Randolph, right? [He stretches his hand out for a shake.]. Really appreciate your help with this.
no subject
[He takes that hand in a careful sort of handshake-- he has super strength, and if he's not careful, he can hurt people. So, he's always careful. He does, however, wrinkle his nose at the state of his current set of clothes.]
You do indeed look like you could use something clean and whole. I can just replace what you have with something similar?
no subject
Yeah, more of the same is fine for daily wear. ...Or what passes for daily around here. Think I lost track already.
[Is it just him, or does the time thing never seem more "normal"...?]
no subject
[He eyes Worick up and down critically, trying to note both style of clothes, how they fit him, and what his build might be under them.]
I can probably just create it right on your body, if you'd rather not take everything off out in the middle of everything.
no subject
Bedraggled as his clothing is, the draping and fit are probably pretty decent indicators of his size and shape- fit and broad but not overly so- and so Lyall shouldn't have too difficult a time working out... Whatever it is he needs to work out for this to go smoothly.]
That works, sure. ...As long as it's not gonna fuse to my skin or anything weird like that.
[Because if that's a possibility he's taking his pants off right here, he doesn't give a fuck.]
no subject
No, no. I can't affect you, just things. So...
[And as Worick faces front again, his clothes ripple on his body, straightening and cleaning themselves out, turning into only slightly different versions of what they had been, when he first got them. It might, in fact, tickle-- but there's no fusing going on, and it definitely doesn't hurt, since the only thing changing is fabric.]
There. How do those look?
no subject
The end result is definitely worth the weirdness, though; once everything's all said and done, Worick pats himself down, checks himself out as much as possible without a mirror, stretches and generally wriggles until he's confirmed both comfort and functionality.]
Man, it even feels the same. [He beams, clearly pleased.] It's great-- thanks a lot.
no subject
It isn't perfect, I think I put the seam in the wrong place on the sleeve, but it's as close as I could make it. I'm glad it feels right. Do you want a costume, too?
no subject
[He could wear this, probably, but if he's got the option for something more fitting he'll definitely take it. Besides, it's been a while since he's had the opportunity to wear something 'nice'.]
no subject
[Lyall isn't the idea man, here, at least not without a suggestion or two he can work off of.]
Something simple, complicated? Elegant or silly? Any particular theme you're interested in?
no subject
He brings a hand up, worrying at his thumbnail with his teeth.]
Hmm... Maybe something... Classic. Not too fancy, won't last five minutes.
[He is planning on having a Good Time, and so while he's not against super formal... He doesn't need to have issues getting out of it should the opportunity arise.]
Dark colours, maybe, since it's winter. ...Winter-ish.
[Fake winter...? It wasn't cold yet in Ergastulum...]
no subject
All right. I think I've got an idea for you.
[And now that he has Worick's measurements in mind, from the last set, he creates something new, piece by piece, in mid-air in front of him, catching them out of the air before the fall and offering them to Worick to hold. It looks mostly like a suit with some nice black-on-black embroidery, but it comes with a half-mask in white and a cape and a wide-brimmed hat. For Worick's sake, it is lacking in the nice cummerbund and fancy shoes, just the shirt, slacks, jacket, and accessories.]
There we go. Phantom of the Opera. He's a character from a musical where I come from, if you aren't familiar.
no subject
That... Sure is a costume in the strictest sense. He laughs.]
I'm familiar, but-- [He gives Lyall an apologetic sort of look.] I was thinking more ball than straight up costume ball. I like the black-on-black, though. [He's still checking this stuff out... It's pretty sweet.] ...Totally wanna hang onto this for later though. Sorry, man-- shoulda been more specific.
[Chances are he'll still be here when Halloween rolls around; he's more or less resigned himself to a life of captivity at this point.]
no subject
[He pauses, considering, then offers,]
Or you could simply leave off the cape and mask, and no one would be the wiser?
[He'll still do it, of course, but it'll save Worick on having to carry two sets of clothing around, if he really wants to keep both.]
no subject
I'm not super into embroidery, [he admits. Picky picky picky, ugh. Blame it on his lifestyle okay he needs to maintain a certain look or he won't sell!!] The cut's nice, though. Can you just-- [He waves a hand vaguely, semi-hoping the ability to smooth that part out will spring forth out of nowhere.
It doesn't, though. Balls.]
Is it a huge pain in the ass?
no subject
Changing things is easy, here, really. Is that better?
no subject
HAVE A DAZZLING, OBVIOUSLY PLEASED SMILE, LYALL.]
That's perfect-- thanks a million, dude. I owe you one.
no subject
[He waves that off with a pleased smile, himself.]
I'm just glad to be of service. I hope you enjoy the party.
