Well, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the details of how things panned out vary from one to another. The funny thing is that Naoto's basically recognisable to all of us - I mean, Kanji and I are used to her with an extra five months or so to get used to having friends, but still.

Yeah, she definitely loosened up more between Izanami and now. She's really way more enthusiastic about the idol business than I thought she'd be...

So did she join up with you guys when she first got to town, then?

Close to it. She got ambushed by a reporter who'd heard the Detective Prince was in town, and she hadn't been around for long at all - maybe that Golden Week. We had to go to Dojima-san to figure out enough for Ted to go on.

That means she swapped with...Kanji. Huh. Makes sense, at least. Hope you guys enjoyed all those status effects.

I'd like to say I'm proud of my Shadow for being the only one my team didn't technically get a clean win on, but...she did try to kill them. Who was your toughest?

Taka-senpai - he doesn't seem to've been around in anyone else's timelines. He mentioned something once about throwing an exam to some ritzy private school, so I guess he was there.

Tower Shadows are no fun.

Devil's already been and gone once, so hopefully they won't be back for a while. As for Tower, that's probably going to be one giant mess of a jaunt regardless.

Taka-senpai ended up having a breakdown on live TV, so he was already off to a pretty bad start. Most cheerful Shadow I've ever seen - it was fond of trying to confuse us.

Well, at least we had one party healer with pretty good resistance to status effects. If I hadn't kept my head for that it would've been a total shitshow.

Souji-san said the first time I talked to him that the only reason he left me out was that he barely knew I existed when everything started, and I guess by the time he met me they knew better than to drag someone uninvolved in. It... meant a lot to hear that.

Of course. Besides, if I understand his superpowers right, you were helping out in our universe too just by being friends with Souji-senpai.

And I'm definitely glad to have like a combined team here. You seem pretty level-headed compared to uh...everyone else, and it's nice to talk to you for once.

Well, even Hanamura managed to help Kanji somehow. [There is some sarcasm there, but it's not as cutting as it once would have been. He knows how Hanamura helped Kanji.]

Can you really see Kanji being the 'calm down' type? He needed to hear itmore often than not, especially when Naoto got kidnapped.

It's good to talk to you again. For the first time. Thing. This stuff's needlessly complicated sometimes.
