Not that I'm complaining about being away from all the raging teenaged emotions, but what happened to get us all sprung so fast? I don't think we were at the Shambala any more than a week - definitely not our usual stay.

We made out okay. Also, for once? I completely understand how Cole feels around people, constantly hearing their thoughts and emotions. And I'm really, really glad I didn't keep that ability.

More or less. At least with this I don't catch every emotion being felt by everyone else, and I don't end up hallucinating all things past, present and never were.

How were things on your end, anyway?

Seeming better and better all the time. The worst thing we had to contend with was a small tavern fire.

And I missed out on that? Damn. You always get to have fun without me.

We'll just have to find somewhere to get into trouble the next time we're decanted into the real world.

'Real' seems relative. Anywhere, where are you? We should catch up while we're still us.
