I'm not very familiar with Trump symbolism, so I was wondering about something. I ended up with a tattoo with arrows and hearts. I'm guessing that's Lovers, but the arrows just confused me a bit.

[He doesn't sound really annoyed. Granted, he's not very happy either, but he doesn't feel like making a big fuss over a sudden mystery tattoo.]

I mean, there was that woman who kept saying how she loved love and weddings... so that would make most sense, right?

[There is, however, something he's annoyed about.]

Also, tossing me right into a section of romance novels with the theme unrequited love is a low blow, whoever decides that.

[Not only does his voice have that dangerous tone to it that he only gets when he's furious to the point of wanting to seriously hurt something or someone, that last bit is punctuated by the sound of his fist slamming into a wall.]

[Well someone's angry about this for him. Jean's been too bothered by his personal issues to think about being marked too much. Or what that implies.

Though it's funny. Jean's almost happy Eren would react this way about something like this that involves him. It makes him feel like he belongs. After a year of hardships, he can finally think he belongs.

It's hard for him to be angry, thinking like this.]

Calm down, Eren. The mark's there and there's nothing either of us can do about now... and as far as I can see, nothing's changed. I don't feel like I need to carry out a message about love being the best thing ever.

[If someone had asked Eren a year ago if he thought Jean could ever be a member of the select group of people Eren considers close friends, he would have called them an idiot. But this is one thing he's glad to have been wrong about.]

How can I be calm when one of those-! [He suddenly cuts himself off, before mumbling something about needing to keep a promise. There's another loud bang, and another, followed by a different kind of sound that is suspiciously reminiscent of a table being flipped over. A long, frustrated sigh serves as a signal that he's calmed down enough to talk again. ...Mostly.]

They don't seem to do anything, but that's not the point, dammit! [Another pause as he takes several deep breaths to finish calming down. ...And once he does a teasing note creeps into his voice. These two have always had a rather unique way of dealing with things, and that much hasn't changed. The jabs at each other are just a lot more good-natured now.] It's a good thing you don't feel that way. You're annoying enough already.

[He's glad Eren seems to at least try to remain calm. That's a relief. Mostly for all of the guys on network who're interested in listening on conversations.

Really, this could have turned into one of those casual conversations about what happened before he received the mark, but Eren needed to take this route.

Then again, it's pretty normal this happens.]
