Live from... Conversation Space???

[About halfway through the week, the network flares to life. Much like with Thorne's broadcast the other week, this one includes some unusual scenery: A poured concrete floor and cinder block walls are lit by a single bare light bulb hanging overhead. Shackles dangle from brackets on every side, and the chair in the center of the room is clearly an electric chair. A tall glass sits on top of a stool made of what looks like pure gold - but the liquid inside it is almost definitely blood.

Unlike Thorne's broadcast, though, this one's live. Naoki's not at all sure this is going to go through, but he sees no reason not to try.]

I have to say, this is a really unfortunate combination of folks in terms of decorating.

I wouldn't know how to answer that even if I wanted to... but a part of me is glad there hasn't been splits for a while.

It is one less thing to worry about when you're investigating, that's for sure.

Yeah... it's been a while since I investigated though. I think Bando was the last time?

[Maybe some force out there decided Jean had done a sucky job and just made him infiltrate after the show he put in Bando.]

...You know, I think you're right. I wouldn't read too much into it, though. It's probably just the way things fell out.

Bando was extenuating circumstances. All any of us can do on any given jaunt is our best. I'm sure you'll be fine.
