[Second day of Week Two/Three Mingle]
Hello, sorry, Lyall here. Do all of you recall that vision I had of the dividing wall between us during the last month or so of liminal space? How it was a very literal sign of what was to come?
It's happened again. I had another one. And it's being about as persistent as the first one, so I'm guessing it's important. I can share it directly if anyone would like me to, but in summary, I believe there's something out there beyond the reefs. I saw dark water, well below the level of the reefs, and a large, pale, diseased something. All I saw was a wall of flesh, that was then obscured by bubbles, and then it went even darker. Like it dove away.
I don't know if we need to find it to stop it, or find it to help it. But I do think we need to find it, if just to keep it from coming here.
... also, I am still making earplugs, for those who are finding the noise difficult to bear. I'm not sure if it will help entirely, but it can't hurt. If anyone wants to try and distribute them to people who trust them and might need them, please let me know, I'll get you a few pairs.

-=the wings don't look nearly as strong as his feathered ones, but they still manage to hold him aloft as he glides, only to snap back against his body as he dives back into the water. He pulls himself up onto a rock, white hair washed back against his head, without the orange it's a lot easier to tell that he's covered in freckles, especially with all the sun=-
Okay. SO I dunno if Ticky said anything but I got all these time powers because reasons. They just work a bit different now, like I can see along timelines so I wanna trace yours back to when you had the vision and try and use that to piggyback onto the fuckin diva of the sea and track it that way. Easier to find your timeline if I don't gotta go lookin for it.

No, he hasn't really shared much with me about you, besides that you've been staying with him, obviously. Is there anything you need me to do, to help you do this?

How long ago was that vision?

[He's eying the turntables with a kind of skeptical curiosity. That's a very odd way to do magic, summoning... record-gears out of nothing like that.]

-=davesprite will never claim that any of the shit involving him ever made sense=-
Actually yeah, that might help.

[With that, he opens up a private channel to DS to send along what is effectively a fully-immersive experience of having a vision of the future. He had been helping some locals and maybe an investigator or two haul a small fishing boat out of hiding and into the water when everything around him suddenly went dark and wet and suffocating. He can't see the sun or the sand, he can only see a wall of something sickly pale, pieces falling away rotted, rising up in front of him. It's more than a little terrifying to see, if just that it's so huge, and it's obviously flesh, not rotting wood or even coral.
Then the view is suddenly obscured by a surge of bubbles, and whatever it is is gone-- or maybe Lyall has just been swept away from it. Everything is dark and wet and suffocating again, with nothing but a faint glimmer above to relieve the darkness.
Then he's sitting on the sand in the bright (and uncomfortable) sunlight, with people around him asking him what's wrong, the vision over.]

-=he gasps as he comes out of it. that must have been what it was like for people getting bombarded by his memories in his dungeon and it just makes him feel that much worse about it.
still, he has shit to do so he shoves all his personal bullshit aside and focuses on the task at hand=-
You weren't kidding. What the fuck.

[He does look a bit apologetic, and puts a hand on the mer-boy's shoulder as if he might need steadying.]
Are you all right?

-=he takes a deep breath and lets it out slowly, then lifts his hands to move over the records, scratching out a rhythm to give himself something to focus on=-
Okay, lets see how this shit works.
-=davi starts to focus until it's clear to lyall that he's not actually seeing whats in front of him, but gone elsewhere. the scratching suddenly reverses, winding back to the moment of the vision to try and lock on to whatever it was that caused it=-
