Audio, after the Jaunt

[Unsurprisingly, almost as soon as everyone returns to Liminal Space after the Jaunt, there's screaming on the network again. At least he's had the presence of mind to filter it from Rose this time.]

[She's pretty sure he needs more than psychic chatter]

In a hole somewhere...

...I'll probably just stay here forever...

[It's one part the effects of this Liminal, and one part teenage-level dramatics. The latter, at least, should be right up McGonagall's alley.]

[She will find him if she has to check every hole in liminal space]

I'm fine, really...

[At least the sniffling noises coming from his hole are going to help.]

[It does help. To the point that she's able to poke her head in.]

[He jumps, almost manages to hit his head on the ceiling, and then rather guiltily wipes his face off on one of the blankets because of course he wasn't crying of course not.]

I...um...I...ah...

...you can come in?

[The hole isn't exactly roomy, but she crawls in all the same]

Jules. We know who you are.

[She doesn't blame him for crying]

[failgoyle]

[There's another sniffle, and he wipes his face on the blanket again.]

Y-you do?

[haveabiscuit]

Of course we do.

ANd it's not the sort of person who would do the sort of things he did.

[She's absolutely certain of that.]

He was really bad...

[There's a shudder.]

I don't want to do anything like that again...

[She squeezes his shoulder]

And that makes the difference. That's how you know you aren't him.
