[OTA] Announcing another drow (w/ human); tic tac toe three in a row for Forgotten Realms

[About an hour after this whole mess, Drizzt addresses the network with some sort of dazed amusement.]

For those of you who have been warned what to do if another drow shows, I do not believe there will be further threats. It seems the Arcana have decided to only pull drow that are not particular threats to other Travelers.

If you meet our newest drow, Jarlaxle, you will... simply know it is him, I assure you. Do not attack him, even if he says something to make you want to do so.

His human companion, Artemis Entreri, is also from my world. Please do not attack him either.

As much as we tune out Jules' yelling sometimes, he would have had a legitimate reason to be afraid if it was a more typical drow.

... Jarlaxle is not very typical of drow.

You do realize the idiocy prior to the last Jaunt was unusual, don't you? Most of us don't make a habit of attempting to murder each other - even if, in some cases, it's only due to the knowledge that it won't stick.

That is certainly a relief. But I mean that we should likely not have to worry about other Travelers being killed indiscriminately by an evil drow. It seems the Arcana are smart enough to only bring agreeable ones.

Does this mean maybe we can start rethinking the whole idea of some kind of genetic predisposition to evil yet?

... It becomes increasingly obvious that none of you understand the concept of drow.

We do not know if it is genetic or if it is a product of our upbringing. We believe it may be the later. But we truly do not know why we three are so different than the rest.

Three examples doesn't exactly make a hard rule, Drizzt. The Trumps have brought people who are a threat to the Travelers before - I am glad that the newest drow is not, but that does not mean we should let our guards down.

[Remember, he did just talk to you about the titan shifters who had been brought here. In all likelihood, they're more dangerous to the Travelers than any drow. (You really are too trusting.)]

That is still possible, I am afraid. We can hope that any drow that do arrive will at least listen to some sort of reason. Self-preservation is rather high in drow, as it is often only themselves that they care about, so not dying because they've killed other Travelers should be high on their list of priorities.

But one can hope.
