Portals are how you get in and out of here. Hammerspace pockets are places you can put your stuff so you don't have to physically carry it around all the time.

It's something you have to work up to. It's not hard if you train yourself properly, but if you try to jump straight into making real food you'll only frustrate yourself. Trust me on that.

You'll want to start with learning how to make a Portal. Learning how to put something together out of Liminal-stuff is a lot easier if you already know how to pull it apart.
