[A few days into the Liminal, Jean has a question to make.]

Is there anyone who could help me learn how to make created spaces permanent? I've created a stable for my Spirit Animal to stay in, and it would be great if I could make them permanent, in case she's left behind while I'm on a jaunt...

That said, anyone who has a horse, or other animals who like staying in stables, you're welcome to house yours there. There are several stalls and I make sure there's enough hay and water around. Guaranteed daily cleaning as well, or else Captain Levi will have my head...

I have since Purgatory, really, but there wasn't much point when I couldn't make my own ingredients. I have that part covered now, though.

Even if Jules-san weren't so... ridiculous when he gets drunk, I wouldn't want to leave access to it when I can't be there an option. Especially as strong as some of my drinks are.

Yeah, I can see why you wouldn't want to leave it available when you're infiltrating. Jules aside, I don't want to know what kind of trouble some people would get into drunk.

Speaking of... I think I kept whatever was going on with Eligius and alcohol. We drank with Eren in that golf liminal and while he got drunk, I didn't feel much anything.

... except next morning, when our bond gave me a hangover as well.

Exactly. [Eh, Zed at least has Mr. Sparkles to keep an eye on him. Jules, though, has... Maria? The one older lady? No one who's reliably with him, in any case.]

That sounds like the worst possible way to have a hangover. But at least you're unlikely to have to worry about it for yourself.

[Look, Jean just doesn't exactly trust Zed right now for a few reasons. Not that he trusts Jules either...]

It really was. Eren was even determined that I deserved since I cheated. It's not like I can turn it off.

But yeah, it's convenient that way. Not sure how I feel about not being able to let loose at all. Though I guess it's still better than end up like the soldiers back home when they had free time.

It's not cheating, and I wouldn't call it an inability to let loose, either. You get to have a good laugh the next morning at everyone else's antics when they're sober enough to be embarrassed by them.

And there's something to be said for making sure other people stay safe.

That's a good point. Both laughing at them and keeping them safe. Sounds perfect for me.

Someone needs to do both, I figure.

So how's creating a physical space work? I figured out mental ones a while back, but that's not the same.

The way I get it work is first imagine what the room will look like as well as possible. Then, when I start focusing on creating the space, I think about opening a hammerspace, since a created room in liminal space is almost like one, but for living things. It's not affected by outside factors.

I'm not sure if that's how it should really go, but having that kind of a thought progress helped me learn.

It's definitely more to work with than I had before. I'll have to give it a try sometime soon. Thanks.

Just don't be too surprised if you find small furniture from your Hammerspace... I've accidentally done that when learning.
