A Couple of Questions [Post Greek Jaunt/Carousel Liminal, Day 3]

[Someone was a nerd and has been thinking about this an awful lot before asking his questions. Which might be noticeable.]

My greetings, fellow Travelers. I have two questions to ask of you.

Firstly—what transpired during the last Jaunt? My Overlay was not... privy to most of the details.

Secondly—and perhaps more personally—are there others Marked by Astræa—by Justice? I am curious.

Who was your overlay?

I can't tell you much about what happened, Iona's family was too... normal. But I'm one of Justice's.

... I am afraid I do not follow. [Drizzt is a ranger, not a merchant. Also, that would require him to actually be more civilized.]

Mine I suppose was normal enough to be in the dark as well.

I think it's the first time "too normal to know what's going on" has ever happened to me.

I think Justice went for the Jedi thing.

I know the dryad girl I was, one of her... dads, I guess... he got turned into a god. So there's old gods, really old gods, and new gods? I don't know, it was confusing.

Also, I'm with Justice, too.

I was involved in the fighting in Athens and the earthquake relief, but beyond that, I think that other people might be able to give you a clearer picture of the goings-on.

...did I mention that I'm marked by Justice, too? I might have meant to, and then just didn't bring the conversation around to it.

Members of an older pantheon got fed up with the way those in charge of the existing one were handling things and decided to make a new one.

It was my first time Infiltrating at all. But not knowing what was going on was frightening to my Overlay, to say the least.

Anything with gods is by its very nature confusing.

Another! I was beginning to fear that I was her only Champion.

I remember the earthquakes well.

... That explains much of what happened.

I suppose I should be happy that during the Time of Troubles back home when our pantheon was thrown from the heavens, only magic stopped working properly.

Where I come from originally there's only one. God, I mean. Or that's what I was taught, anyway, I mean there's other religions, but technically none of us have ever seen our heard from our gods, so it's really... really different than that Jaunt.

I'm Jolie. I kind of like Justice, even if this whole kidnapping thing sucks.

Yes and no. More the embarrassment of being a child. But the cause of the injury itself—that indeed hit too close to home.

We have an entire Pantheon, much like Greece, and their presence is most assuredly felt through the magic they bring us. It is not such an unusual idea to me.

It is good to meet you, Jolie! And I like her as well, even if we have been unfortunately kidnapped. I am Drizzt Do'Urden.

Duris was one of the first people Galen healed, you know. A few hours after the ambrosia started working.

Despite knowing that, I am still somewhat embarrassed.

... The boy was a good first person to heal. He had a good heart. I wish him and his family the best.

When he had you--Duris watching over Little One, he was heading off to a meeting between the gods and Titans. The reason the world had been such a mess, one of the Olympians had been poisoning the others so that the Titans could take back what had been taken from them to start with.

Technically I think only two of them got thrown anywhere. But yeah, it was kind of a mess. They ended up having a big meeting to figure out how to go forward.
