A Couple of Questions [Post Greek Jaunt/Carousel Liminal, Day 3]

[Someone was a nerd and has been thinking about this an awful lot before asking his questions. Which might be noticeable.]

My greetings, fellow Travelers. I have two questions to ask of you.

Firstly—what transpired during the last Jaunt? My Overlay was not... privy to most of the details.

Secondly—and perhaps more personally—are there others Marked by Astræa—by Justice? I am curious.

I was involved in the fighting in Athens and the earthquake relief, but beyond that, I think that other people might be able to give you a clearer picture of the goings-on.

...did I mention that I'm marked by Justice, too? I might have meant to, and then just didn't bring the conversation around to it.

I remember the earthquakes well.

It is a good side to be on, all considering. It is good the feeling is mutual!

I think it's a good side, too, but I suppose I'm a little biased...

Why the sudden curiosity about who's marked? Not that it's a bad question, or anything, but now I'm curious.

As am I. Back home, I often considered Justice in my writings and believed it to be the utmost of importance. I still do. I am not certain another Arcana could have been more appropriate.

[A chuckle.]

Nothing too gossip-worthy, I am afraid. Ambrose wished to meet with the others Marked by Fool, so it made me wonder about my own compatriots.

You're a writer? Oh! [That's what she's taking away from that, at least.] I think that it's very important, too. There's a lot of unfairness and injustice, where I'm from. It's worth fighting against.

Ah, I see! I do think I've got some sort of... Justice radar, where I can sense out where people with her mark are. But that's not nearly as friendly as just going like this and asking. Good job!

Ah--not so much of a writer as it is just the way I use to examine my own thoughts. They are not something I share with others. [By the gods, he's not that good.] And yes, there is much injustice in my world. I fight what is in my ability to correct, hoping to change the world in some small part.

[He chuckles warmly.] It was merely a question, not a job. But I am glad you have such a sense. It is good to know that you are not alone, isn't it?

Oh. Still, that's more than I do. But then again, I can't say I've tried... [Oh well. Moving on.]

It is very good to know we're not alone. Although I suppose I already knew that I wasn't, in a general sense... but now I'll have some names and voices to go with the feelings?

Names and voices have all the meaning in the world. There was much elation between my father and I when we both understood that we had each other, and were no longer alone in the way our hearts guided us. [... of course, Zak was dead the next day, but he's back so Drizzt doesn't think about that right now.] It is much the same here, although perhaps not as powerful.

Mm, they're something more solid and sure. That sounds like such a wonderful reunion... [It makes her feel happy, to pick up on Drizzt's obvious happiness.]

Maybe I'll meet some of my old friends again someday, if we're traveling long enough.

You should have seen the reunion with my father here. [Drizzt jokes, knowing full well that he cried like a child and could care less that he did.]

Perhaps you will--or perhaps you will be returned to your world after this is all over!

I hope I am! That's what I'm working towards, at least. I hope everyone that wants to return home can return home.

I will truly miss the friends I have made here when it is all over, but we each have our own homes.
