We were fighting a Fetch in Kitty's dungeon and Jules was panicking so hard his tail dropped off, aaaaand the Fetch shoved it near my face, so. One thing led to another, I guess?

Yeah. My teeth are like, my best weapon. Like I have claws and hooves too, so it's not like it's my only option, but I have a jaw strength of like, a hyena. Also the actual jaws of a hyena, so.

...okay, so. They're a big cat, like a lion? Except they're like, wolf shaped. So no mane, kinda scrawny limbs, a short butt and a barrel chest. And a kinda stumpy face, but they have insane jaw power. They can bite through bones.

Well - usually other people seeing my Mask means they're either another Changeling or under the Oath, which is fine; or crazy, which isn't great, or I've dropped my Mask, and it's kind of not great when that happens. People tend to freak out.

Are they often prepared for you to drop your Mask? Jules needed a ritual to allow me to see through his.

Dropping's different to the Oath. Dropping it is me like, literally destroying my Mask and showing off what I really am. The Oath lets other people see through it for like a month without me having to do anything else, that'll be what Jules did.

If you ever want to do it again - see through Masks - pretty much any Changeling can do the Oath of Thorn and Roses. Kitty might not because she's, uh... a special case, I guess. But I always can. Just need a rose.

Far as I'm aware, it's just the three of us. [He's making an effort to keep tabs on the other Changelings that might pop up.] Our own weird little family.

And don't mind if I take the kiss in advance. I'm never quite sure how people react to my Mien, so better safe than sorry.
