New liminal, who this... [a little while into boneforest liminal]
[Even without an actual livestream attached to it, there's still the ghost of a faint, ladylike cough before the speaker begins. Man. Even back ... back before everything she'd never used the network in public. But now... she supposes she might as well ask.
A high mental voice pipes up.]
Excuse me, everyone? Could I have a moment of your time?
To begin with, I should introduce myself to everyone who has arrived since I last Travelled with you all: my name is Haru Okumura. While I did do so in person, I'd like to thank my rescuers for coming after me again... It is wonderful to know there are still people among the Travellers willing to take those kinds of risks for someone they don't know.
However, I've noticed that a lot of things have changed around here, apart from all the ... new faces? I certainly don't recall all the doors here before! Are those usually here, or are they just part of this Liminal Space? Never mind everything else...
Would it be possible for somebody to let me know what I've missed while I've been ... would you call it "away"? It really would be greatly appreciated.

As for what you've missed... what was the last jaunt you remember?

[That's so good to hear. She gives a slight hint of a relieved sigh. Nothing too strange, and a better place to spend time?]
As for the Jaunt... It was ... a place named La Tour Ivoire. [That's a pretty solid French accent, there.] A university institute?

Besides, now that he has a measure of how long she's been gone, that's slightly more pressing.] ...That was before my time, and I've been here for over two years. Catching you up isn't going to be easy.
[Doesn't mean he won't do what he can, of course, but.]

[...wait, rewind...]
Two years? I knew there were a lot of unfamiliar people, but ... I suppose our hosts do have a strange sense of time ...

She's a ... little overwhelmed here. First the ... recent events at home, then the dungeon experience, and then...]
I. I see. 'Showing up'?

As Naoki mentioned, the doors are spaces created by various Travelers. I do have space in my rooms for anyone who wishes something more personalized than just the workshop.
no subject
But... you have a space of your own? Which would that be?
no subject
My rooms can be found near the 12 on the clock of standing stones. I have a wooden door with a bronze quill door knocker. I always have some tea and food out for anyone. You're welcome to stop by at any point, my dear.

Oh, I think I saw that one! I believe I'll have to visit sometime soon.

Room creation appears to be an advanced application of the ability to shape liminal matter. Ectoplasm, as the resident expert would put it.
Our hosts and game-masters have apparently seen fit to have conversations with us, answer questions. Some will be more forthcoming than others, as accords to their idiom. The Justice Arcana was archtypically straightforward with me, and I would be willing to divulge what information she gave me at a later date.
My name is Frederika Bernkastel. I was made the villain of the last jaunt. I hope not to embarrass myself so again. It is a pleasure to see you released from your Dungeon, Okumura-san.
no subject
And it is a pleasure to meet you too. Please, don't feel that you need to use my family name.
no subject
Idiom is the phrase they are fond of, but yes. I've found Justice archetypically straightforward in her statements. Others have noted that Chariot is curt, blunt, and honest. Moon... lies. Frequently. Pray you never meet Devil.
Very well. If you do not object to familiarity, I ask only you extend the same to me, Haru-san.
no subject
That does make sense. But ... excuse me. 'Marked'? [That's a worrying sounding phrase, that's for sure.]
no subject
Since the tournament between the Arcana has started in earnest, they have begun to take those they consider... resonant with their archtype as their playing pieces. Marking them with a sigil.
It is not entirely without benefit for the Marked. Each of them grants favors according to their idiom. As a reward for my role in a jaunt to mythic Olympus, I gained the ability to slow my perception of time, for example.
At this point of the game, none of us left here are unMarked.

[Though when 'Palace' hadn't necessarily meant luxury, that only goes so far...]

Since others explained the Workshop... One of the doors lead to the stables. It's a space I created for animal companions to stay in. It's a public space so, feel free to visit anytime.

Though I wouldn't be surprised if some of the dragons we brought back would need a place when they grow older.

Pardon me, but are you new here, or just in a similar situation to me?

Similar, but I think I've been gone longer.
[Because you don't sound familiar to her at all.]
