Paint the Colors of the... Travelers?

This is Jean... K. I've been thinking and came up with an idea with the help of Feliciano.

I want to make a room in the Workshop that would host a painting gallery of Travelers. Not just of the ones we currently have, but also of the Travelers no longer with us. An example...

[He shows a painting he's painted that shows a very accurate portrait of Leonardo with a white lion by his side. Next to that painting is a painting of Mikasa and Eren.]

Your part in this would just include sitting as a model for either me or Feliciano or provide a memory or a picture of past Travelers. Of course, you can always say no and we won't pester you about it.

I just want us to be able to remember our fellow comrades now and in the future. So please consider this idea.


And I guess if you just want a painting to decorate your room, that can be arranged too.

That can definitely be arranged. I remember a bit about Sera, but I will appreciate some memories of her as well as on anyone else.

You should choose what you want to look like in your portrait... though I'm going to have to contact you later about when and where. It might take a bit scheduling.

Yes. But no one's going to be forced to enter the gallery if they don't want to. It'd be there for those who do want to remember.

If it's not too taxing on you then there are likely plenty of travelers who you remember better than others would... but I don't want you to push yourself, alright?

It's not too taxing - I guess I haven't tried too many at the same time. But holding a dozen or so at once is no problem.

... I don't think you need to hold that many for one painting.

Not for one painting, no. But this way you don't need me there the entire time - and you don't have to wait for me between paintings either, if I'm busy or asleep.

You can just leave them on while you're sleeping?

They don't take concentration or anything. They might vanish if I became an infiltrator - I'm not sure. But falling asleep doesn't affect them.

That sounds like a pretty cool ability to have. Also very useful for this project.

It is pretty useful in general - and very convenient.

Just let me know when you want me to put up some images. I'm guessing requests come first, and people will usually have specific poses or memories they want for those.

I will. I need to gather a list first on who everyone wants a painting most... or if there are those I absolutely shouldn't paint.

...I think it'll be nice to know we have a way to remember everyone. I, I know what it's like to start to forget someone. [He may have an eidetic memory now, but after Harrogate, he doesn't know if that will hold. He can't always trust his memory anymore. So he's glad to have something more concrete to hold on to - something not as fleeting as memory.]

So... this is a bit of a long shot, but my sister was a Traveler for a while, and I don't have any sort of picture of her. If there's any way you could do something of her for me, I... well, I don't have that much to give you, but I could find something, I'm sure.

I don't require too much. Even a few memories of her would be enough that I can form a sketch out of... or you can describe her and I can sketch based on that as well and edit it as long as needed to make it look right.

I will sit for either of you, but getting Pathfinder to sit still anytime will be difficult at best.

I think with the dragonets, I might need to take a picture some other way before painting them. So they won't have to sit still that long.

There is a new traveler that is good with cameras if you need one. Blonde and does not seem to stay still long. Prompto.

That is if you do not have one. Pathfinder has met him so he may stay still for him.

[She is silent again for a moment.] Pathfinder wishes that any pictures of him show his good side, the one with the scar. At least I think that is what he was trying to say with the colors and turning his bad eye to me.

Sounds like someone I haven't met before... but I'll definitely keep him in mind, unless he happens to run across this first.

[Though surely he's heard him before, thanks to the day of Prompto's arrival, but that was just his voice.

I've been wanting to do something similar kinda! I've been taking pictures of liminal space and the jaunt we were on. I thought I could make a photo log of everything wherever we go. I just.. don't have a way to print anything. Most of my cameras are digital.

I'm pretty sure our tech-advanced Travelers could help out with coming up a printer to use in Liminal. I mean, if they can make computers work here, why not something like that?

Yeah, we were talking about getting pictures to paint from. Dragonets can be very active so they wouldn't stay still for a long while.

I know at least a few who do. They were working on something called the interweb or something that works in liminal?

That would be great. It would likely be wise to gather a list of those we need pictures of first... but that shouldn't be too hard.
