Hello. I... this is Imriel. I've agreed to help provide music at the Liminal Ball.

...I'll probably need help. I play guitar - if anyone wants to join me in making music, let me know and we can find a time to meet up and practice together. And if anyone has songs they're going to want to hear, let me know and I'll try to learn them.

[He feels like he should say something more, but after a long, uncertain moment decides against it. The entire post is a little stilted, with how unused to using the network Imriel is. He's not even used to hearing it - he generally mutes the entire thing, unless someone addresses him directly, and he's never made a post before. Still, he's trying.]

...I've never written music as myself before. And I've never written lyrics at all before.

But I wouldn't mind learning more modern songs. Are there any people usually play around the Longest Night? Or... Christmas, right? [He thinks that's what Maria called it.]

Fer the most 'f us it's Christmas, yeah. We got a whole heap a' songs fer it, I reckon some 'f em go back a couple hundred years. Ain't too hard pickin' any 'f 'em up, neither, they're all right catchy.

I pretty much only know how to sing, which I'm sure a lot of people will volunteer for. [even though he's clearly the best.] It's a really good idea. You'll do great.

I'm not really sure what I'll need - I don't know what kind of music I'll be playing yet. But drums would be a pretty good bet, for a solid rhythm section.

I play the keytar. I have not performed, however. It may not be... seemly, for a robot to do so.

It's been forever since I got to perform as myself instead of an Overlay! And I'd love to get on stage with you, too! I can sing, and I remember how to run a synthesizer too, if we need that.

[Imriel brightens considerably and actually smiles at her reaction, even if she can't see him. He startles a little at the image, though, not used to the network - words are fine, but he mislikes being bombarded by images like that all the time.]

I don't really know what we'll need, since I don't know any of the music yet. But I'd love to perform with you.

I'm mostly cooking, though, and I'm probably gonna sneak off to Ambrose's thing later.

What's Ambrose's thing? And who's Ambrose?

Like Kinji there, I can play some guitar and sing okay - we kinda learned together, in a way. Our music style is kinda similar, too, so you might not need that none, but just in case, offerin' my services.

You're welcome to sing or play for a few songs. There seem to be plenty of people willing to make music, but I doubt anyone's going to want to play all night.

I can teach you Christmas songs if you'd like, Imriel--though it would just have to be the vocal parts, since I can't really play any instruments. A lot of the ones I know are meant to be sung as part of a choir group or with carolers anyway--I learned them in church when I was a kid or in music class in elementary and middle school.

[She's just old enough to have gone to public school before a lot of them started cutting out music and arts funding.]

I can figure out a guitar part for it if I hear the melody. I've just never heard any of these songs before.

If you'd like, I can play flute and harps and lyres. I also sing, and simpler percussion instruments like tambourines and castanets are something I could also play.

Music sounds fun- it's been a long time since I got to perform with others.

We have several people volunteering for both drums and singing already - I don't think anyone's said they could play flute or harp or lyre yet. I'm not really sure which would fit better - I've never played in a band with any of those instruments before.

...That would be helpful. I haven't heard anyone else saying they can play bass.
