Ugh, okay I wasn't going to add to the flood of people talking about weird visions but there's this one bit of the one I saw that is really sticking with me.
The vision: A pair of dragons were fighting. They were WAY bigger than the ones you guys brought back. The smaller of the two was like the size of a bus. Then while I watch it all an evil tree spoke to me, saying something like "You aren't the only one who has a mascot!" Which, who knows what that means.
That's not the weird part.
The weird part is One of the dragons was using Liminal Portals.
[Private to *Hyun-ae]
Also being drunk is weird. Being hungover is terrible.

An N2 mine is a conventional explosive warhead with a yield measured in the kiloton or megaton range. Um. They're replacements for old tactical nuclear weapons?
no subject
No we don't have anything like that. Just each other. I'm Kohaku. Kohaku Yuhara.

They're, um, usually my backup?
Hi.

What do you do, that they'd turn to you before setting off a faux-nuke?
no subject
Um. I was the pilot of Evangelion Unit-01. If your world doesn't have anything like it, Eva's a little hard to explain. It's a seventy-meter tall... um... bio-cybernetic weapons platform?
[despite communicating psychically, his voice still cracks when he hesitates]

[She's watched anime. She knows what "cybernetic weapons platform" implies.]

Kind of?
It's, um, kind of complicated. You can think of it like a giant robot, though!
no subject
Unfortunately we don't have any robots. Well...no giant robots, at least.
[At least it wasn't the "aren't you a little young for that kind of thing" talk.]
You gonna be okay here? Shit's gonna get real weird.

So your world's solution was "let's make totally not nukes we swear that don't poison all the things, just stomp a city flat."
...I don't know if this is just the worst idea or if I want three to drop on the next Nightmare I see once I get home.

And we try really hard not to do too much damage to the city.
no subject
And not like. You know. Biblical angels.

I think I'd prefer to believe that's a codename for something big and strange and possibly on fire and I'm going to until something proves it's not true.

They're awful, and they want to wipe humanity off the planet. We're just supposed to get in our Eva and stop them.

I signed up to fight the Nightmares. Figured out how to call up an ANIMa, and hit them hard where we could hurt them. In dreams. We couldn’t fight a like fifty-story monster. But in an ANIMa, we could dream hard enough to kill the Nightmare wearing that monster.
