The water rising from the sinkhole in the lake prevents physical entry, but if one uses portals or an incorporeal form, one will fall onto a multi-colored island. Take care not to be hit by the lightning. The island spins slowly and rests on a web of crystal spars. From these comes lightning that strikes the ceiling. The lightning keeps the hole to Questing Country open, but when it is redirected, the stone ceiling it hits heals on its own.

Beware the island. As an Oracle I used my Sight on it, and it is likely an enemy. Strangely, it is... bigger on the inside. Spirit Companions dislike the whole place.

I am able to share the memory, if you like. I encountered Phillip, Kinji, and Yakumo when I arrived there. They can answer your questions as well.

Did you see any pillars of light? I'm still not certain what I saw in regards to what happened when I interfaced the lake.

No... were these in the lake itself but invisible? I did see the nightmares coming from the bottom of the lake. There is a reason I did not share what I saw directly on the Network. Describing it is difficult. It reminded me of the Floor, though in indirect ways.

The deep, dark hole at the bottom of the lake, things... coming out of it. There were shapes in the bubbles. And nightmares, but their bodies half-formed. Pieces. I had thought the lightning in the world below was damaging them like it was damaging the rock that would have blocked the hole.

I saw them when I used Interface on the lake. They are, however, sentient.

... Hm. No way of telling without heading down, I suppose. I'd offer to help, but I can't portal myself, only objects.

I can open a portal for you. Or use the ghostly form I used to go past the sinkhole in the first place.

I am not, however, going to Interface it.

I advised against that. I was afraid it would detect our presence like a Harbinger would.
