Intranet Calendar

I guess this is as good as time as any to announce a project I'm working on Intranet.

I'm putting together a calendar. An accurate calendar of what date it is in Liminal Space - or well, as accurate as it can be through created spaces. I know you might think this is impossible, but it's not, if you follow certain readings and edit some coding to match them and make sure your ticks are counted correctly... Currently, it's March 2nd.

That being said, I can insert everyone's birthdays onto the calendar so we can celebrate you accordingly. Of course, this is no way mandatory if you'd rather keep your birthdays a secret. And you don't need to tell us your age either.

It's not completely ready yet, but I can start putting up the birthdays while I make final adjustments.

Though one day I will find a way to count time in Liminal Space proper, just you wait.

I can't say for sure about Liminal Space itself, but time does pass consistently inside created spaces. So far every created space I've tested this theory on holds the same date and time.

When I tried calculating time outside Liminal Space I got an error. All my sensors for counting time just stopped working. It's fascinating and frustrating at the same time...

That makes sense. Liminal Space exists solely at the behest of its observers. Rooms are held in place by the will of a conscious individual, most of whom perceive time objectively like most people living on Earth. Their Rooms follow their assumptions.

When you put it like that, it does make a lot of sense. I'll need to rethink my plans of tackling Liminal Space from the science field.

Full names are great when we have many with the same name, of course. Otherwise it's not really necessary.
