Corgipocalypse [Early Week 3]

So I had one of those dreams again. The ones that feel different from normal, the really important dreams? For the newbies, I started picking this up after Harrogate and it's not just 'you ate too much cheese before bed' or something like that.

Anyway. I was in a garden - it was a pretty nice garden? - and holding an embroidered handkerchief. There were a lot of corgis around. They were very fluffy and happy. The Queen was on the radio, giving a speech from the new Prime Minister, who was cancelling elections for the next thirty years.

... So here's my take on on this. First up I think Phillip is somehow involved - he's infiltrating right now but he has a whole thing with corgis. Second of all... didn't this Dark Lord supposedly try to impersonate the Prime Minister?

I think we might have an attempt at that happening again. No idea about the handkerchief, though.

So that Dark Lord might try to kill the Prime Minister this time instead of just trying to impersonate them.

Also, I don't know if that is related, but the disembodied howling in Liminal says "I solemnly swear I am up to no good." [Which the Dark Lord pretty surely is.

Since he figures that most travellers won't be able to interpret howling, he feels like he should provide that.]

Possibly. Or he's impersonating them again, and has convinced the Queen. I have no idea.

[There's a few long moments where Casper just starts laughing. Holy shit, this Jaunt is going to kill him from being too nerded out.]

Probably not. Liminal keeps making references to those books I told you about... that's a phrase that comes up a bunch in the third book. If that pattern's holding I have a good idea what to expect next week.

... A big arena with a dragon or something dragon-like, an underwater area, or a maze. Possibly all three.

Alternatively a graveyard with creepy figures, but I'm hoping Liminal doesn't go that far...

[None of those sound particularly bad to him, but who knows what the details might be.

Still, there is something that he can say to actually reassure Casper:] If it is too bad, some of us can change Liminal now.
