This is Anafiel Delaunay, lately of the Walkabout. I was told of the plague of Trojans here by Naoki and so I have come to lend my aid in whatever way I might. I have also brought Sakuya Tachibana, a healer of no mean skill, in hopes that he might be able to treat the computer disease.

If anyone can tell us how we might help, please do. I am not a healer myself, but I have spent some time as a soldier in my youth. I am willing to follow instruction.

Would a normal sword work against the Trojans? If not, where can I get a blade that will?

Ahahahah - with cause, you can requisition weapons and vehicles from the local commissary. And we have been given most ample cause.

I think you will like the weapons here. They have sword hilts that, with a touch, burst into a blade of pure energy. They're downright nostalgic.

Oh. I will have to get used to the weight of such a blade--but it does sound as if it would be very interesting to wield. Do they have such in your world? [He did not remember any from Lady Beatrice's biography--he assumes he is right in identifying this woman as Lady Bernkastel--but mayhap they are from a later volume. He has not finished it, after all.]

Ahaha, are you reading Beatrice's tales? What volume are you on? I would not wish to deprive you of the mysteries to come, if so; I know I found them most diverting, to be savored as one would a roast.

I have been diverted by other things in the last few months, but I am on the fourth volume. And come to think of it, Kanon does have a blade of light--but I was imagining it differently than your description. That is to say, I was imagining that the whole thing was made of light.

Kanon's weapon of choice, yes? It was doubtless inspired by such a blade as I have described. A certain film had recently become popular where such swords were a focus, and I am sure Kanon was familiar with it.

The wielder of such magic is limited by their imagination, after all.
