I have just completed an Oracular scan of which of our esteemed hosts shall be playing the latest round of their game, and the results are quite illuminating.

At a probability of 1, this liminal space was shaped by the Fool, the Chariot, Strength... and one other, whose name seemed to me like a television channel tuned to flickering snow.

At a probability of 0? All others.

This is a very interesting result, wouldn't you agree?

Not Fortuna, I should think. But possibly Hierophant, Sinregado, Hoshiko.

If I'm remembering the deadspace thing right, probably not Temperance. It sounded like something eldritch got involved there, and even the Arcana are leery to tangle with eldritch beings.

Why do you rule out Fortune?

If this is the Arcana flexing their ability to alter past events, what need do they have to restrict themselves to the current tournament? I had assumed this would be the same one.

Most of them don't have a very good grasp of linear time. I'm not sure if they could reach beyond the current round.

So, if Justice prevails and they avoid the risk of rescuing Sinregado - as she would counsel - that leaves Hierophant and Star. Fortuna's death started our tournament, did it not?

Hierophant would seek to maintain a social order - and Star would bid us grasp for a miracle in the face of certain doom. If I don't miss my symbology.

[Ah, that explains it.] Fortune's the one who set the rules - I'm not sure that would have been possible if they were the first death. I think Temperance was the first.

Perhaps Fortune will have a spot of good luck, then. But I think the other two more likely. Much depends on the conditions of the Jaunt.

Fortune definitely was here for First Yensid. We saw clues from it in her deadspace.

Sinregado - Temperance - was her friend, before the events of this game made her eschew alliances.
