[On the day of everyone's return, not right away but still with the day, Jean addresses the network. Well, it's him and Mikasa both there, actually. The convenience of mirrors and sensory livestreaming.

Jean also seems to have grown some facial hair that he hasn't gotten around to shave yet. It's a small change but it does make him look a bit older.]

So, uh. It looks like I can still turn into a wolf after everything. I didn't have the ability to do that before the jaunt, so it's definitely from there. I guess liminal's gonna liminal and break the rules of how it worked for Tijan... any tips of how to handle full moon while Traveling would be great.

However, there's... something we need to confirm. [Suddenly Mikasa looks more serious, for now, because this is actually really serious business. No one wants to see a mad Ackerman or rather a mad Ackerwolf in this case!] You see, I bit Mikasa's overlay and she was turning into a werewolf. But she can't turn into one, most likely because she didn't shift even once during the jaunt or then it didn't carry over for her... but it would be good to confirm considering the madness.

I mean, I tried to sniff her scent [Mikasa blushes], but she would smell like my mate [... that's just making the young woman there blush even more, there goes her serious face too!!] and someone who belongs close to me regardless, so I can't be completely certain if there's a new scent for that.

[Jean doesn't notice but Mikasa's face looks at least as red as her scarf right now. Or maybe more like a tomato being about to explode.... Right, so not used to the new word yet ... at all.]

[He's perfectly fine with this and everything and he pulls her even closer as she sits on his lap, enjoying the warmth she brings and the love he feels mutually resonating through their bond.]

[She leans her forehead to his and smiles. Feels like forever since they last had their feelings bond there even when it's only been away for one jaunt while they were both infiltrating.]

[gently touching his face with one hand all the way from his cheek to his chin.]

[One jaunt always feels like forever. Jean smiles as their foreheads touch and the way she touches his face. Gently he kisses her fingers.]

[Happy sigh.]

We could just spend the entire liminal like this. [ greedy for taking all of his time to herself, oh yes she is. ]

Well, I did make my rounds early on, so...

[He has no objections, not really. Though their companions might complain eventually.]

[ She smiles, unable to think of anything else to say to that other than a silent 'great' between her lips before her plan to cuddle and fluff with him indefinitely begins by kissing him. Maybe they'll complain sometime later but there's only one way to find out whether they'll do that or let these two be busy with each other. ]

[It's always a mystery, but it's not a bad thing either way. Jean nuzzles their noses together between kisses, just to show even more affection.]

[She pets and rubs his back, smiles at the nuzzling and kisses all around his face sometimes before returning to his lips.]

[At least with they way they're sitting he can slowly guide them down to lay on the bed and kiss her more there.]

[Never an unwelcome thing from him to do. Mikasa keeps on kissing him softly, gently and hugs him tighter as soon as they are there.] Jean, I love you. [They both repeat those three words to each other often. She could repeat them even more, this time it's half a whisper between all the kissing that she continues right after them.]

I love you, too, Mikasa. [He's fine with repeating it as many times as they can. The three words never go old.]

[ She kisses him all over his face with small, gentle and soft kisses. ]

[Jean puts his hands on her neck, softly massaging there and otherwise just gently touching her skin and hairline while kissing more.]
