He's capable of a psychic blast strong enough to incapacitate multiple people. We would have more information, but Katsuragi drove him away.

It would also make more sense, given that we were in the lab when this disaster started unfolding before us.

Katsuragi also has a lot of junk and other half-completed prototypes tucked away in there. It wouldn't be out of line for me to dig one out and claim it suddenly started acting up.

Katsuragi, being Katsuragi, used his one chance to score with a rock star after a concert to perform an S-Tech experiment at the same time. Things...got out of control and ended poorly, to say the least.

I know Katsuragi having this face already makes her uncomfortable...and I've spoken with her once before after being deinfiltrated, and I still couldn't bring myself to tell her. I had an opening, but I still just couldn't.
