It looks like he got pulled here either directly from Moebius or right after, so he's not real steady at the moment. I've got him in my quarters for now - got him a clean set of clothes, and a meal waiting once he cleans up, and I'm hoping that'll help a bit. I haven't told him about you yet - I'm not sure how he'll react.
I've explained a little of the situation in general, but he's in a heavy state of shock and his memory's spotty - I think he vaguely remembers me, but he's not entirely there yet. I'm pretty sure he'll remember you, but his head's still in Moebius right now. So I'm not sure what to tell you - on the one hand, a familiar presence might help, but on the other...
Yeah, it did; it's just... rawer for him right now, because he hasn't had the time to heal that most of the rest of us have had.
[And oh, no pressure or anything...]
I think it might be a good idea to hold off for a little bit, at least until he's got his bearings a little. Mostly I'm concerned he'll get agitated out of fear you've been subjected to another Moebius.
Honestly, though, this really isn't my area of expertise - I'm worried I'll do him more harm than good.
[There's a pause of several minutes, and then she's contacting Thorne again.]
Okay, you probably don't want to mention physical transformations or theories of Liminality to him anytime soon, because he's telling me 'they' can't have had me long because I'm not a Fairest or a Wizened or anything like that. I know he was pretty convinced that the Arcana were an offshoot of the True Fae for a while, but I'm not sure if this is part of that or if he's just plain having trouble distinguishing between them and the Arcana right now.
Let's hope for the best and assume that Moebius fucking with his memory means he forgot they're not True Fae. How did he figure out they weren't last time?
I think he started doubting they were when nobody else could see it, because if we didn't think it was obvious, then maybe they weren't. I'm not sure if he was ever fully convinced that they weren't, though.
Reminding him that this is Liminal Space and not the Hedge worked, although I forgot he doesn't know the 'Arcana' - he still remembers them as the Champs.
Yeah. I was the same way - I'm used to it now, but when I first got back it was jarring hearing everybody calling them the Arcana instead of the Champs.
[Then again, 'Arcana' has a very specific meaning in her world.]
i just forgot to say that at the beginning of the thread that's all

You're the one who's there with him. I think that's your call.

Okay. Um. Once he seems steady to you, I'll come?

Ah.
[She still doesn't really get it, but does that really matter when the word itself is enough to cause Thorne pain?]
