Okay, guys, I'm trying to catch up but you got network-happy, there's kind of A Lot. And we should probably have it in once central place anyway.

What do we know about Jauntzilla? How the entire fuck are we supposed to fight these things? Hypatia's more worried about getting her expedition on the road while there's still people to go on it, but she'd prefer to have a home to come back to. I'm de-infiltrating myself when we get back, that's for damn sure.

Healing enough to reveal the tampering takes an hour - a bit less if you're very good at it. Removing the tampering entirely would probably take up to a few days.

The person I was able to partially heal hadn't seen a 'Vale Art' like mine before. He was hoping the Calculator Council could figure out something that might work similarly, but I don't know how long that would take them.

Oh excellent. I'm, like, nearly there, but I was prioritizing finding other non-Jaunt worlds first. Good news! I think I've found mine, but I haven't quite got to the point where I can bridge over yet.

I'm still working on... shit, I'm trying to think of the right words for it? Translating where it is to something liminal space understands. I'm not sure if it's just that I'm being slow at figure that out or if liminal space is curtailed in where it connects to when Synodiporia is in play.

I think in this case, it's something even Fortune would have an interest in deliberately curtailing. Otherwise, a lot of people would leave once they figured out how, and that would cause too much chaos for their game. They'd have to replenish their ranks a lot more often.

Yeahhhhh, that makes. A fuckload of sense, actually. Welp. At least I can get good and practiced for when this is over, then.

But I mean, if I have everything figured out but the actual connecting, which I'm currently being actively kept from doing, then I can just-- set that aside and concentrate on other things. Like healing. And refining various aspects of other skills.

I've got once-a-day quick healing down pat, but I think I need to get better on the psychic side before I could do once a month instantaneous.

And, mm, I've been working on storing templates on the network, like Bismuth suggested we do. After that, I might see about changing things that aren't clothes liminally or trying to get it so I can make things out of liminal space without needing to have a full dreamcatcher.

I think that one just needs advanced psychic healing on the psychic side. On the physical side it needs Liminal regeneration, but I know you can do that one already.

Armin and I were talking about... uploading and downloading things, but I was thinking more of a permanent Liminal connection than something like that. I think I've probably got enough to learn how to make that now, though.

[She thinks for a moment.]

I think I've also figured out how to Liminally change things to other things? That seems like it doesn't need very much Liminal knowledge at all - you just need to be able to do basic manipulation and to change your own clothing. Actually making things outside of Liminal Space is harder, though. I think it needs one of the newer Liminal skills, and maybe templates as well.

Yeah, I can do that. I just need to get my ass in gear and work on the psychic healing end of things. Though, like, at least I got some practice with that when Felicia broke everything one last time for old time's sake.

Making a permanent liminal connection isn't too hard when you have the right skills. It's weird but. Like. Okay, you know how you can make permanent rooms and objects, so they don't go away if you dungeon or infiltrate?

You do that. And then you sort of take the permanent-ness from the thing you made and put it inside of you.

It would definitely make sense that you don't need much more than that to, like, liminally transmute shit. It's really just the same thing as changing your clothes, it's just easier to wrap your head around altering clothing than it is other things, because 'what-I'm-wearing' is such a mutable thing anyway.

I only picked up psychic healing relatively recently. But it wasn't difficult - the advanced healing only needs the basic healing.

So you're making yourself, or a part of yourself, a permanent... not part of Liminal Space, but you're giving yourself a permanent tether.

I think it would also be easier if you know of the concept in general... like stories of changing worthless items into valuables, or vice versa.

Yeah, you know how my big brother was here for a little while? I got him some memories back. I pretty much learned psychic healing to fix memories, actually. But I'm still just doing the basic kind.

And yeah! That's how you get it so you can't be kicked out.

But yeah, I think so too about the transmutation. It's all about if your mind can believe enough to shape reality.

...I'm trying to describe the more advanced healing, but I think it's mostly just "basic, but more." So I don't think it will take you very long at all to learn the advanced hybrid recovery skill either.

And there's no way to sever that connection?

I don't think there's a way, but I dunno for sure. It doesn't mean you can't leave here on you own, mind you. It just means no one can force you out.
