Alice has come along, and she's some form of Doppleganger, given how she looks like me and doesn't look happy about it.

I have not been able to locate Alcuin as of yet, but I can confirm that I saw an elven version of Thorne among that band of white and silver clad dreamers, dressed all alike. I did not get a chance to talk to her.

I'm now the Oracle of Choice, rather than Adversary. It's different, but comfortable. The events happening out there now all seem to be revolving around the Adversary who called Travelers here, the leader of the group with the new roles and... something else. I can't identify it, but whatever or whoever it is is very important.

[Thace pauses.]

How the choice is made concerning the Adversary is more important than what that choice is at the moment. I'm going to look into that further if I can.

I tried to look for omens and portents now that we're here, but with Questing Country and Liminal Space joined, I'm not getting much from either. The Conductors' uniformity is a symbol of their togetherness and harmony - which is obvious - but the Bidents they wield are an omen of the underworld and capture. Their meaning here feels more related to music somehow, though.

I also sensed that there are three Hunts going on under the surface. One is the Arcana's hunt for the World.

The other two are harder for me to perceive; there's a hidden agenda, and people moving where they can't be seen. I can't make out more than that, though. I'm sorry.

Yukino here. Still myself, still the Oracle of Perspective, but now I'm a Hecatite.

Tried to do some perspective-reading a little while ago. Our new Conductor friends have a few points of interest. One, they literally do not experience fear, sadness, or doubt. They are still individuals, but it's like they're all a bunch of melodies that used to play in all different keys that now play in E Major. Which, incidentally, is the only reason I know what E Major sounds like now. Switching my senses around to check out their gear mostly just confirmed that they're all in the same key.

Spirit Companion perspectives are always kind of malleabla and fluctuate a lot, and they tend to be interconnected. That's still true, but they're shocked by the Tesserae for some reason. Incidentally, those Tesserae read like Conductors, not Spirit Companions.

Also, with regard to our friend Grant, his perspective is notable in that he has almost no trust but a huge amount of hope. Make of that what you will.

I'm not entirely certain what to do with Oracle... ness... but if people can think of something I should be looking into, let me know. It's kind of nice to be back. A bit of confusion going on... Anybody know what's going on with the Conductors?

I'm trying not to get involved still, but the Conductors said some stuff to me and I can't keep it to myself.

Uh, first of all if you bring up Harbingers or Starmovers in front of them you might wind up with a fight on your hands, just FYI.

They told me the reason they're so keen to hold on to the Bident thief is that he threatened to... maybe not personally destroy all Conductors, but to see them destroyed. Their leader compared him to a group of conspiracy theorists from my world who come to those ideas out of a particular, uh, racial animus. She walked it back when I pressed her on it - anger does seem to be the one negative emotion these guys get to have - but if he hurts someone and I didn't say anything...

I seem to have no magic at all - I think I'm actually a magic sink, with the way that monsters and brooch-dispensing cabbits actively avoid me. That would be your Pillars, right? How the hell do you figure out Pillar Aspects, and does it matter?

Anyway, there's a self-IDing rock Oracle named Titan asking for Pillars to do a thing, so I asked what he needs. I'll keep you all posted.

Madoka Mawaru checking in. My fuku comes with a free hoverchair and a black hakama with a fractal mon, so that's... something. I'm pretty sure that I'm a Champion; my Companion is some kind of geometric model of a phoenix.

Also, I just ran into the Cool Kids Club, and are we SURE they aren't Eldritch?!

There's some differentiation between them, but they smell like people who prayed to Shuizn to alter their character sheets, and had the prayer granted. You DID notice Leah's crew are pretty much literally a Paladin, a Wizard, a Barbarian, a Cleric and... not sure what the Vodyanoi is. A warlock, maybe?

And Leah herself has demonstrated multiclassing or switching classes, but she's Roles so that tracks.

Shuizn, for the record, is a being my world considers on par in power and hostility to Nyarthalhotep.

ETA:

Okay, those Bidents having cthonic magic as per Cassandra - don't panic, it means "of the earth" or "of the underworld," not "relating to Case Nightmare Green" - throws my entire theory out the window. The Tale with A Sad Ending isn't connected enough to reality to also have cthonic powers.

It's still creepy, but it's definitely just regular creepy, not Eldritch.
