So, question. Does anyone have a thing that charges things up? I need to figure out if I've made a functional lightcycle or if it's just a pretty but useless baton.

It was that or find a salad to laugh into. [That part's quieter; she probably didn't mean to broadcast it. Either way, Claudia would like some help with a thing pls.]

If it's working, I'll start taking requests. Only a couple at a time, though, I need to make sure I have time to... you know. Eat and sleep.

Not even a little like batteries. Seems getting Grid technology to work without the benefit of the Grid itself to jumpstart it is trickier than I thought. If it were batteries this'd be cake.

I don't think it's gonna take anything that extreme, but I can't really stick a couple double-As in and call it a day. It doesn't have a battery slot, for one thing.

I was thinking more high capacity rechargables. Alkaline is shit, I have no idea why people put up with that for so long. I tried rigging some of those as a charger a while ago, got me a whole fifteen minutes of extra battery life.

I, um... I can channel electricity. In both small and large amounts. I'd be willing to try - but. Well, I've never used it so precisely before, so I can't be sure I wouldn't channel too much and accidentally damage it or something.

Actually, I wonder if I could Tesla it into working, but that should probably wait until I make a charger. They're not as bad about emptying now but they'll still only hold so much juice.

You must've missed the Grid. If you know from motorcycles, they're similar, except they're completely digital material - they collapse into a neat little baton when you're not using 'em and can put out a solid light wake. [And holy shit is that thing handy sometimes.]

They don't have to be two-wheeled, or even wheeled at all. Leo has a giant sphere thingy, or at least he did there, and I think there was at least one person with a one-man helicopter. But I'm starting simple.

Iiiiiii don't think it'd be too hard at all. But I'm not making any promises until I can get one to actually work other than the one I brought back with me.

I might be able to assist [Ha] with that. The Starmovers created an object which appears to charge devices, such as batteries. Perhaps it can power a Cycle as well?

I would also like to show you the Lightsphere. I do not quite remember who created it, but I remember that VINCI test-drove it and was quite enamored with it, ages ago, before we-- they were disturbed. He was thrilled to see it still in one piece, even if it had been corrupted.

I don't think I caught the Starmover business, but anything's worth a try. Armin's thing didn't work out but I don't think he fried it beyond recognition, and if he did I can always make another. There's a reason I haven't promised anyone anything yet.

The more options I have, the better - pretty sure I can rig something up so the Tesla will work, but even that only holds a charge for so long.

It's a Constructive Enlightenment thing. Had to dip into my laptop for some code to pull it off, but I think I did the thing.

Of course, if I can't get the damn thing to turn on I might as well have done nothing, but I have a few ideas for getting that done now. Worst case, I can find a way to Tesla them to life.
