Yeah, this is getting bad... [Day after Joker (aka, Hajime) being attacked]

Hey, guys? This is Right. I guess I'm kind of a newbie, but that's not important right now. We got a problem. A BIG problem, one different than those Hunters Thorne talked about earlier. You guys heard about Baadur? He's my boss; I work with his pack as one of their corvigers. Nice guys, but you don't wanna piss off the girl werewolf. Trust me; she's that scary.

Anyway, last night, one of the others got attacked by one of Bagrat's men. His name's Joker, and he was protecting one of the other corvigers when it happened. Joker's okay. He's hurt, but Baadur patched him up. He also got proof of the attack, too, so that the local authorities can get on it. But Baadur and everyone else thinks that Bagrat's trying to go after us in order to scare Baadur into dropping out of the election. They also think that his people might be the ones that attacked that person close to Lady Elphaba recently, too, so that she could drop out as well.

That's not happening. This isn't how elections are supposed to be run. You're supposed to just debate and bicker over policy stuff, not try and kill each other! And we need to find a way to get this jerk and his people to stop.

I don't know - something seems off. Elphaba's pointed out that Baerry is the only victim who's been left right on someone's doorstep. Maybe the plan was to do that with Joker, too, but... I don't know.

What do you mean by that? Are you saying that Bagrat's not the one who's behind these new attacks? I mean, I'm pretty sure Joker's not lying about who attacked him.

I'm not saying that at all. I'm just not sure he's behind all of them.

Then, who could be behind the one that killed...Baerry, wasn't it?

That, I don't know. Elphaba thinks it's Bagrat, but if Bagrat was the one behind the attack on Joker, then it seems strange that he'd switch things up like this for Baerry.

What happened to the guy who attacked Joker?

I think Joker killed him, because he came in naked and covered in both his and the attacker's blood. Not the corviger's blood, though; that guy's unhurt. But I saved some of the blood on a handkerchief for Baadur to use, and they also kept the silver knife used to hurt him.

One of the vampires that was killed had nothing to do with the election.

Okay. So. We have a Hunter and Bagrat--or whoever--trying to bump off the competition. Great. Amazing.

Pretty sure we can tackle the Hunter without upsetting many people. We just need to find them first.

But Bagrat...Baadur thinks that he knows how to make him stop, but that requires talking to Zed for some reason.

Why Zed, I wonder? Unless... you know, Zed is a banker. Maybe he's trying to get Zed to call in some loan of Bagrats, so he has to divert his campaign money to paying Zed off.

I don't think the local cops are gonna help much. I've been watching the station on and off since bodies started popping up, and... trust me, I know dirty cops. These guys are. If Bagrat's not already paying them off, he's a lot dumber than he looks.

Pretty sure they're actually investigating the other murders, though. Not too hard, but no one's paying them not to.

You mean, the ones caused by that Hunter Thorne talked about earlier? I'm not surprised. From what she told me, they're crazy enough to not tell good vampires and werewolves from the bad ones.

...though I guess I wouldn't be too upset if a Hunter gets Bagrat...but later. After the election.

Do you think that there's any clean cops that can help us?

Well... yeah, probably. There's always good guys out there. Figuring out who they are is a bit of a problem, though. I don't know if we could pull that off and actually get them to help before the election. Or before we're yanked out of here, whichever comes off.

Let's hope it's before either of those things happen. Especially the latter on. I'd like to at least stick around to see if this place really do elect the right people.

But hey, there's a good chance that's the whole reason we're here, so I'd be willing to bet we at least get to see this out.
