So since the books in this place are huge letdown and it looks like we're gonna need someplace to store physical records soon, has anybody thought about building a library in here?
['Here' of course meaning Liminal Space in general, not this one specifically since... Transient.]
Seems like we could use one.
[And although he's already mentioned it before attached to another (admittedly more important) broadcast:]
...If someone wants to give me a pen and a couple empty notebooks I could probably get us started off with some stuff from home.
[Super low budget, but it is what it is.]

Further, while I can provide you with pen and paper, I could also provide you a typewriter. I have a colorless spell which can copy pages in their entirety, so we might have multiple copies of the same item in the event of an emergency.

No but really- Worick's glad for the response:]
A tower, huh? I'm all for that- definitely a nice vibe.
[He's glad that the first offer is coming from someone whose vision is less 'miserable private mansion library escape' and more 'sweeping spiral staircase fantasy library'.]
Typewriter could work too- lot faster than trying to write it all out. [He almost adds 'or a laptop', but honestly... A typewriter feels cooler and considering the sorts of books he was thinking of getting down first it's way more appropriate.] ...I think I might have picked the same thing up from Misericordia- the same copying spell as Beatrice's, right?

Indeed, it is practical and - hopefully - will be a pleasant source of knowledge for everyone.
Alcuin and I also possess it. With a typewriter, we could work on copies of our library at four times the efficiency.

I still have those papers from the...school. You recall the one. I highly doubt anyone will be interested in them, but you are free to make another copy for the library, if you wish to archive them.

I like you.
I have Plans for my personal dwelling that include a library, but I can certainly contribute books to a public one as well, especially by using the spell Maestro da Vinci and I already mentioned.

Awesome. Can't have too many copies- I don't know how much I feel like maintaining a waitlist for the popular stuff.

Definitely enough time in between Jaunts to get some quality writing done. [He grins... Psychically. However that works.] Plus you've got yourself a captive audience here- could be time for that five minutes of fame, if they weren't already up.

I can get you pen and paper if you want it. I also have digital copies of a ton of stuff, but half of it is newspapers from home, so I dunno how interested anyone would be.

[He and Nic had been talking about cramming another bookshelf into their tiny-ass apartment recently- as long as Ally's sticking around she'll need a few rows for her stuff as it accumulates, too.]

Transcribing from memory then, huh? You must be pretty sharp to pull that off.

[A small library in and of itself... hope Leonardo is all right with making a crapton of shelves.]
Histories, legends, poetry, language primers, manuals of the rules of the guilds of Terre d'Ange, should you so choose. There are also some religious texts I can recreate. I am uncertain of their value to others, but it would be a comfort to have them amongst the rest.
no subject
[They could hang them up in there or something- it'd definitely add to the ambiance. He's all for it.]
And I'm not really religious myself but I wouldn't turn down a chance to look at what gets other worlds outta bed in the morning. [If nothing else, it'll be interesting. He's read his world's bible, after all; a little dry prose-wise, but with more enough sex and violence to be worth his time.] You're more than welcome to start the spirituality section off, man. Knock yourself out.
no subject
[????? Why would religion get you out of bed? Or knock you out? What?]
I beg your pardon but… Would you be so kind as to explain what you mean by “Knock yourself out?” I must assume you do not intend it literally.

Um, I can make books and stuff with Liminal things, and I think I still have the cantrip where I can copy words? I mostly know plays, though. [and... he mostly wants to read more plays.]
no subject
Still-- he's got some good-ass taste. Worick loves plays.]
I was gonna start with plays first myself, so that's great. [He makes a note to get some of the more kid-friendly stuff he knows onto paper first... Not that there's a whole lot of that.] What's your favourite one? If I know it I'll get one started for you.
[He likes kids okay..... He might not be as good with them as Nicolas, but still.]

Most of my own finished stuff is, uh, short stories. Which are impossible to sell these days, which is why I haven't, but I could probably do a collection? And, um.
There's, uh, some other stuff. If we want an, um, transformative work section.
[please don't say you're surprised she writes fanfic. please.]

If anything, he just sounds pleased to have so much to choose from:]
How's all of the above sound? It'll probably take a while to get everything together anyway so at this point I'm not gonna turn anything away. [Unless it's dangerous. Like that stupid King dude's stamp dangerous. Fuck that noise.] Especially not Traveler Originals. I'm not totally sure what 'transformative work' means, but shit, I'll take that too.
