So since the books in this place are huge letdown and it looks like we're gonna need someplace to store physical records soon, has anybody thought about building a library in here?
['Here' of course meaning Liminal Space in general, not this one specifically since... Transient.]
Seems like we could use one.
[And although he's already mentioned it before attached to another (admittedly more important) broadcast:]
...If someone wants to give me a pen and a couple empty notebooks I could probably get us started off with some stuff from home.
[Super low budget, but it is what it is.]

[He and Nic had been talking about cramming another bookshelf into their tiny-ass apartment recently- as long as Ally's sticking around she'll need a few rows for her stuff as it accumulates, too.]

Transcribing from memory then, huh? You must be pretty sharp to pull that off.

[But even if there are apparently a few other people around here with the same ability his instinct is still to play it down a bit:]
Still-- I gotta give the people who actually wrote the stuff the real credit.

Yeah, not easy work.
[He's tried. He doesn't want to talk about it]

Definitely best left to the experts... And it sounds like we got a few of 'em here, too, so with any luck we won't run out of stuff to read any time soon. There's no shortage of inspiration either...
[Seriously, even someone who can't write worth a damn could probably make a killing detailing the tomfoolery that is the Travelers' existence.]

Yeah, though it's not like we get a ton of downtime.

Kinda depends on what you consider downtime. Place itself is kinda weird but aside from dodging the floating crap and stupid floors I've been doing way more sitting on my ass here than I did back home.
[Since Chad's a pain in his ass and his clients like to give him 'side jobs' on his days off. S i g h. Never a dull moment...
Obviously he's a little bored, though, otherwise he wouldn't be looking for stuff to occupy his time. Grass is always greener, etc.]

After a while, having nothing to do can kind of be a relief after Jaunts. Though I get where you're coming from.

[Or, well... Not a ton and even fewer that're network-appropriate.]
...But from what I heard before I got off pretty easy for my first time. I'm sure I'll be beggin' for some nothing eventually.
