Hey, I got a question. Well, more of an issue, really.

Is anyone else seeing things?

A lot of the officers over on the Empress are rabbity, and not just officers - and now I've started seeing things too. But only with the clockwork eye. I was kinda hoping someone could check it out for me. I can do my own repairs in theory, but I could use a second pair of eyes. Or one full pair of eyes, if you get me.

Can anyone on the Corona even hear this?

At least someone isn't. I think I still have an eyepatch or two, if it comes to that. Just as I was getting used to binocular vision, too.

What in particular are you seeing? And is there a pattern to where?

A smorgasbord of disaster, mostly. Hull breach, fire, overload, these weird winged guys on fire - anything that can go wrong on a ship, plus a little extra. Haven't noticed a pattern; looks like it's all over the ship, judging by the occasional screaming passenger.

It is likely that it's an effect of the storm, then - though I am not certain if that's any more comforting than a localized phenomenon resulting from some malfunction aboard the ship. Still, it may be worth keeping track of where you are when you exerience the hallucinations, in case a pattern becomes clear with more data. If nothing else, it might tell us where the tachyon contamination is most likely to pose a problem.

[She pauses for a moment.]

Cassandra has already mentioned the iconography present on Nibiru. It is possible you're merely seeing creatures that are similar in appearance - we have encountered winged humanoids before, on a previous Jaunt - but if it is them, much of their technology appeared to respond to sound and pressure, and heavily featured holographic displays.

A lot of people are freaking out... I think it's only people with cybernetics, though. At least that I've heard. [Kyan was talking about it, that one guy's arm fell off when he was freaking out...]

Well isn't that just peachy. The cybernetics like you need to fly this thing, for example? [So all the most critical jobs are being hit hardest. Great.]

The synthetics on this vessel are experiencing a similar phenomenon. They believe me to be one of them, and have been asking me why I do not see what they do.

Now why would they think a thing like that? [Easily distracted when he wants to be, our Braig.]

I bear certain similarities to them. As someone who did not give out my species, I presume that was what they assumed I was.

Corona, over here. Got a number of folks actin' like they're seein' things and hearin' things. Ain't had a problem, myself, or my husband or the boys servin' as my gunners.

Not that I've seen. Ain't too sure all the ones I've seen havin' a problem did, either, but I suppose might not be obvious.

I haven't seen anything but I've definitely heard some things that don't seem to actually be there. I've got... some cyber from my own world. So it seems like there could be a connection.

Not yet, anyway... but the implants I have are geared more auditory input anyway. Maybe that makes a difference.

We're doing okay. It was a rough takeoff, but things seem to have calmed down for the moment.

I haven't seen anything that wasn't actually rattling around on our end...but I have seen a few people acting weird. And there's this weird aura in the air. I'm thinking the same thing's happening to them.
