How agitated are people? I have noticed that those native to the areas we are sent tend to overlook things that seem out of place.

Although... if I remember my Western mythology right, Titans were seen as fearsome creatures in their religion, so they're likely to just go 'oh, shit, a god' and run the other way.

How the hell do you expect people to overlook a fifteen meter tall monster appearing on the beach!? They were pretty damn agitated! Most of them were running but it definitely looked like others were scrambling to defend the town and-

...Wait. These people think Titans are gods!? You're joking. You have to be joking.

And how do they even know what a Titan is!? I haven't seen any sign of them existing in this world! There's no walls to keep them out or anything!

You'd be surprised what people overlook if they do not believe in it.

Perhaps gods is not the best word, as their gods were very specific entities, however, they did have titans as powerful deities. Nothing close to your specific manifestation of Titans, but something similar-ish with the same name, if I remember my mythology right.

It is likely the best option to just get to Liminal Space as quickly as possible, if you have the ability to portals. It is likely that the encounter will just become a legend and pass into history. And then half of the people won't even believe it happened.

I'm already in Liminal Space. I ran down the beach until I found some rocks big enough for me to get behind and get out of sight long enough to open a portal. And that's all great, but what am I supposed to do for the next couple of weeks? That's not exactly long enough for it to become a legend.

...But being some kind of legend in another world does sound pretty cool.

Not always. I have known of people to look straight into the face of things not even supernatural, and still not believe what they are told.

Hm. There might be someone around who can alter your appearance with various sorts of magic before you leave Liminal Space. If not, if someone opens a portal for me, I can bring you enough different kinds of clothes and a wig that people will not notice your change.

What kind of magic? I don't want to rely on other people to keep a disguise up, but I'm not sure I could keep a wig on if I have to fight. But I kinda want to see if people do realize that titan was me. Maybe I can pretend I got knocked into the ocean by the explosion?

You would have to ask someone else. I know there are quite a few different kinds of magic being wielded by different Travelers. It is likely that there is someone who could assist. However, if you do not find anyone, I can work with your current hair, and just change your clothing. It is likely to be enough.

Generally, I believe the phrase is 'knowing is half the battle.'

[Of course there's Maria who almost qualifies as a small. But when you're from a culture where you can enlist in the army training program at twelve and be a full legal adult at fifteen, that kind of skews your idea of what age no longer counts as a "little" kid.]

[Under any other circumstances, Feliciano probably would've found the sudden screaming of expletives across the network kind of amusing, but as it stands, he did just see an enormous person-shaped monster just run down the beach, and the timing lets him put two and two together.]

He's pretty used to shifting in front of everyone, not here obviously... [ Just Eren being Eren, getting into ridiculous fights in front of everyone, no big deal except when it's a huge titan... ] That was me, yeah. I guess he got a little angry at someone, who was trying to talk to me...
