What: The start of the investigation.

I’ll give it just eight hours, then I’m breaking us out of here.

We should do a roll call. Who still remembers who they are? And… is an ace of spades just a guy who’s really good with a shovel?

Um, Y-- Yukimura Chizuru! I'm here and.. an Investigator too, I think..? [ She was caught up to speed by Hijikata before.. well, all of this just started happening out of nowhere, so she's still really getting the hang of it. It's probably why she's still mentally speaking up even when she's technically already accounted for.

Well, that, but also-- ]

Are you sure breaking out is a good idea though..? It could cause a lot of trouble.

[ Not that she's really questioning it too much since Eren does sound like he knows what he's doing here a lot more than she is, but she's just a little worried. ]

We're going to wait and see if they really let us out in the morning. But after that, we're not waiting around any longer!

But isn't everything just going to be a lot harder if we have to be on the run from them as well while we're here?

.. Ah, I'm sorry if I'm speaking [ .. or.. thinking... she's still not entirely sure what to call all of this. ] out of line though. I don't really know how these kind of things usually go yet, I suppose I'm just a little worried.

That's not really how an investigation works. When you have an idea, you share it!

But that would make it pretty hard...

If we have to break out, we'll try it the other Hijikata's way first.

And skipping around the already awkward topic of another Hijikata she was at least informed of in favor of getting everything about the situation straight first-- ]

He might be able to pick the locks and get us out quietly, rather than collapsing the walls.

That does sound like it might go a lot better.. [ Especially since, well, collapsing walls generally means people getting hurt. ]

But then there's still the problem of the guards.. it's not like they'll just let us walk out, right?

[ Because it really sounds like there's no peaceful option otherwise, and peaceful options is exactly what Chizuru is all for.. ]

I'm glad.. truthfully, I'm not really used to this. [ Not that anyone would expect a girl like Chizuru to be. Probably. ] And all of those things sound like they could bring a lot of trouble.
