Guys. Hey, guys? Remember how we went into Alcuin's brainjail and ended up fighting soldiers and a huge jerk disguising herself as Phedre?

I, uh, just encountered this woman out in the, uh, scale tube. She's calling herself 'Edmée de Toulard' and. Well. She looks like this.

[And Thorne will livestream them about ten seconds of a woman who looks a hell of a lot like a roughly ten-years-older version of the Main Boss of Alcuin's dungeon, if less inclined to supervillainous grandstanding.]

Am I seeing things or what?

Also. Um. I tried to get her to stay with me, but it didn't work. If she is who she looks like, though, I advise HELLA FUCKING CAUTION because. Uh. I think we all remember what happened before, even if she doesn't necessarily have any of the magic bullshit Alcuin's brain gave her.

I know from Alcuin that Delaunay while he was here suspected that Imriel was a bastard kid from her family, though. Which might be why she's asking? Like the real reason, not the lie she gave me.

Like Delaunay thought he could maybe even her kid if she hid being pregnant...? Jesus. I dunno.

She certainly looks like she could be his mom, or at least related to him. She kind of admitted that he could be, to me, but considering she lied about even her name I wouldn't be surprised if she lied about more. Though I don't know why that of all things would be a secret.

She started refusing to talk to me anymore, though. Should I try to follow her?

Um. She's pretty scary. I don't know if it's a good idea, even if you did it as a dog or something. Definitely don't as a human.

If it's a secret it's probably because she was plotting something with him. At least, that's what everything I've been told about her indicates.

Alcuin's lord was, like, one of her BFFsies and he and Alcuin died as a result of her crazy plotting, so who even knows? Also. Um. Gimme a second.

Okay. Right. Uh. Delaunay's big suspect for the baby daddy was the king's nephew who, like, got executed for conspiring against the crown. So. That might explain a couple things.
