Everyone who made it aboard a ship, check in and let us know where you are so people are aware you're not dead.

People are going to be asking questions soon enough, if they haven't already. We need a coherent story as to what "happened" to us and why we were out here in the first place. I've mentioned that many of us aren't sailors, but beyond that, no detail.

Hitsugaya Toushirou. [But no matching pleasantry to go with it. He doesn't do those.] It's unnecessary to apologize for him. [Not because Souji's behaviour is okay, but because what's the point of apologizing for someone else's behaviour? It doesn't really mean anything.]

I understand. [If Hitsugaya wasn’t extremely offended or anything, that was a bit of a relief.] He has a habit of getting… carried away sometimes.

[...so Saitou would probably still have a word with him about it. He knows an apology doesn’t mean much unless it’s coming from the troublemaker in question, but whether Souji liked it or not, he was a representative. His awful behavior could make them all look bad, and Saitou couldn’t have that.]
