About a day after the return from the Jaunt

This is certainly the clearest message we've had from our delightful hosts in quite some time. Maybe they actually intend to make us aware of which of them is winning after all, instead of leaving us to guess and grope after everything.

Tell me, I'm curious: was it the intent of our Investigators that the Hermit should win, or was it just left to chance?

Hmm. Justice isn't bad in principle, but Justice doesn't have much room for forgiveness, either. What all did they say to you, what do you remember? If I'm getting too personal or prying too much, feel free to say so, but I think the more we all know, the better we can make decisions going forward for who to support and who not to support.

We... mostly spoke about the game itself. The past, and the future. She had to call one of the other Arcana in to help explain, it's... complicated.

Oh? You got to talk to two of them? Which was the other?

Death. She called him Mortimer.

They're not terribly creative with the names, are they?"

Judgment calls themselves Penuel. I suppose I don't know what that means-- it sounds Biblical-ish, but I don't know enough about the Bible to place it, I'm afraid. Still, it's at least not quite as typical as "Mortimer" for someone personifying Death.

What did he say, do you recall?
