I have the list of Travelers who've vanished over the course of the jaunt. Elphaba, Eliza, Liara, Xena, Gabrielle, Jotaro, and Persephone.

[He closes his eyes for a long moment, still and silent in respect for those departed - giving everyone a moment to hear and accept his words before moving on.]

I know there have been other conversations about it, but, I think, nothing comprehensive where everyone can hear - we should share what we found out from the Arcana during out conversations with them. We've learned more about them, our past, and our situation in the past couple months than in years before that, it can be hard for everyone to keep up.

Well, I think Tower is one of the ones most of us can agree we don't want to win.

That would be safest for everyone involved, yeah.

He didn't say no when I point-blank asked him if he wanted an apocalypse.

It's - it's hard to imagine what the apocalypse means to one of the Arcana. The scale of such a thing...

Yeah. He wouldn't care who or what got hurt.

Devil, on the other hand, would care - and would relish it.

Either way, neither of them can win this.

Yes. Who should win seems to be the harder question.

Assuming we can always figure out who's playing at any given Jaunt...

...and what if it comes down to Tower or Devil at one point? Then what?

Then we have no good options remaining. However... Devil is malevolent. Tower is merely chaotic. Neither are ideal, but given the choice between uncaring change and premeditated destruction, I would choose change.

Still...the idea of letting either of them win one pisses me off.

...we could try to bring it to some kind of draw. A stalemate.

We could - but then we would run the risk of simply having yet another jaunt sponsored by the two of them, to break the tie. [And no jaunt sponsored by either of them, let alone both, is likely to be pleasant - to say the least.] As well as the chance that that would just mean they both win.

Yeah...that...that wouldn't be an option in anyone's favor.

[This isn't the Battle Fight, it can't just continue forever in a stalemate...]

Let's just work on eliminating them before it gets to that point.
