Intros first, I guess... Hi, I'm Robin! Currently sort of younger big brother to Redwing if you've met him. First 'Jaunt' so I'm a newbie at all of this.

Anyway, I know a lot of people have been freaking out that this is all... quiet? Not dangerous so far? I'm not sure how it usually goes but since you're not feeling the aster and if yoga or whatever isn't going to cut it, I rented a Wii from the hotel and set it up in my room - sorry roomies - if anyone wants to come and just chill for a bit. Maybe we'll have a dance-off or something!

Gaming system that makes you move around a bit to play the games.

All those words make sense but I think I need to see it in context to understand. It's... a dancing game?

It's a medium through which you can play all sorts of games. I just so happen to have a dancing game handy at the moment.

[ see he's still thinking games like "sports" and "chess" so this is all weird but intriguing. ]

Room- [Blathers something or another that's his room number.] I'll order pizza.

[Said in the flattest voice you have ever heard, Robin. Fenris isn't impressed. He follows this up, of course, with the inevitable,] What is a Wii?

You could do with some socialising.

Wii's are fun. Everyone needs a Wii.

[That earns Robin a short laugh.] You sound like my friend.

[And that's not helpful at all, Dick.] You do realize to one such as myself who is unacquainted with this Wii that you have rented that it simply sounds as if you are telling me that relieving one's self of urine is enjoyable and that everyone does it, yes? If this puts your helpfulness into perspective. [Or, you know, lack thereof.]

[Can you feel that mental glee at the situation? He's snickering helplessly to himself physically too.]

That was the point.

Anyway, a Wii is a machine that we can use to play all sorts of games on with the TV - that big black rectangular box 'mirror' in our room - to project the images and sound through.

I see. Is it one of those ele...elec-whatever things, like the TV machine?

[Because electronics more than likely came up before at some point. To explain the lights and the keycard and stuff.]

No. [ He has ...SOME idea what those are now, thanks to listening to the explanations given to other people, but uh, bear in mind his fanciest concept of 'machine' involves like, levers. ] The gaping lack of panic over what most people would call 'being kidnapped,' by invisible and unknown forces, no less. You're either remarkably well-adjusted or remarkably crazy.

I process things quickly. Besides, this isn't the first time I've been kidnapped.

[ Ha, ha! the mental impression suggests, imploding with irony. ]

Well... [ he lets his mental tone linger on that word for a bit before moving on. ]

Considering we were just dumped into the sea last time we started a Jaunt, I'll take this more quiet start.

[turbedon]

See, that's the right attitude. Getting thrust into danger without any idea of what's going on? That's never fun- okay, sometimes it's fun, but that's not to everyone's tastes.

[flatteries]

Don't get me wrong, I can easily deal with a little danger! [ GOT TO KEEP UP A GOOD REPUTATION... ] But even so, it's not as if I enjoy waking up next to some sort of hungry dragon. In fact, I'm fairly sure no one would enjoy that sort of thing unless they are a dragon enthusiast.

If even then. Does waking up next to a gigantic hungry wolf count?

It happened to me with a bear before, so I'm sure it counts.. [ Shiver. That had not been a good morning.. this is how Inigo learned his first lessons about camping out in the woods. ]

Although I've never been in a Jaunt here that actually started with waking up next to something hungry, so I suppose we are safe for now. Let's just not give the Trumps any funny ideas, hm?
