Now that I can have everyone's attention, a little good news.

Since Jules and I both needed the occasional break from the Bronze Age, I'm proud to announce Liminal Intranet is now up and running. Even I'm not good enough to hook it up to proper Internet, as that would involve punching dimensional holes that are probably beyond our reach, but it should at least be a boon to Project Infopool.

Servers are in my rooms, so they won't be going anywhere even if I do. You'll have to provide your own computers, though.

I said 'feels' for a reason, Claudia. Feelings and facts are different things. It feels like a preferable alternative to the services I already offer.

Does the intranet read the data aloud for people? If they are still reading then why is it any different than a book?

[Well, she can't not give him credit for trying.] And I'm just trying to reassure you you're not being usurped, dude. The library still has its place, and there are gonna be people who prefer it.

It could, if someone recorded it or worked out a text-reader. And if they're still reading, this opens up a lot more presentation formats than books.
